:: THURSDAY NIGHT REDEMPTION ::
11th July 2002
The Red Gra, Caerleon

[As the show begins we are shown another video package chronicling the changing fortunes of Phil Leach, Dan Jones, and Andrew McMartyn. Clips are shown from Tuesday Night Turbulence as the CWF owners bicker over which superstars should advance to the Whiplash Pay Per View to wrestle for the CWF Championship. Various voiceovers are heard as we flash through the images:]

ACID: “ … We’re out here tonight to put the record straight as to just WHO should be going to Whiplash this Sunday to wrestle Andrew McMartyn for the CWF Championship… Clearly, Dan Jones PINNED Phil Leach and won that match…”

MCMARTYN: “… I hardly think YOU have the power to run around to make CWF Championship matches, do you? … I think that as Dan Jones’ shoulders were on the mat Thursday night you have NO right to claim him a place in the main event at Whiplash!” … HOWEVER … In my opinion Daniel Jones should wrestle my son Andrew for the CWF Championship! …”

PHIL: “Hold on a minute … Are you telling me the word around the campfire is that The Gentleman Pimp is getting shafted out of a title shot this Sunday?…”

ANDREW: “… Phil, the OWNERS of this company have made a decision, and since you’re just a WRESTLER, and NOT an owner, I suggest you take … a … hike!…”

JUD: “… I AM an owner, and I CAN make executive decisions … At CWF Whiplash, the CWF World Championship will be on the line in a TRIPLE THREAT match between Dan Jones …… Andrew McMartyn … … AND Phil Leach!…”

ANDREW: “This Sunday … you’ll be calling ME ‘Champ’!”

DAN: “I will be your next CWF Champion, and there’s not a damn thing anyone can do about it!”

PHIL: “‘The Man’ is in the main event at Whiplash, kids, and you know what? He’s gonna do every single one of you LIKE … A … KIPPER!”

MOSHER: “Andrew McMartyn – Phil Leach – Dan Jones … going at it for the CWF Championship on Pay-Per-View- it’s going to be great!”

[The video ends with a dramatic shot of all three title contenders as we go into the last show before CWF Whiplash… ]

Thursday Night Redemption

[The opening music dies down and the pyro comes to an end as a rabid crowd of fans welcomes the CWF to The Red Gra in Caerleon. They waves their signs over their heads enthusiastically as we greet Gav Jones and Taff at ringside. The CWF’s play-by-play man is typically excitable.]

GAV: “HELLO AND A FANTASTIC WELCOME TO THE SHOW! Tonight, folks, Thursday Night Redemption is going to be a smashing broadcast, I just know it! We’ve got a whole bunch of great matches for you, headed up by Phil ‘The Man’ Leach taking on the mighty, and undefeated, Hans Grip!”

TAFF: “Ha, Phil Leach is really going to find out the power of the “swede” tonight! Heh heh!”

GAV: “And don’t forget, there’s going to be more brilliant matches announced for CWF Whiplash…. This is going to be great!”

[The commentators’ introduction is cut short as Puddle Of Mudd’s “Control” blasts into the building. The lights go down and bath the arena in a blue haze as one third of the Whiplash Main Event, Andrew McMartyn, swaggers out onto the ramp. The Co-Owner of the CWF is already dressed for combat, and as usual has the glamorous Natasha at his side. The couple saunter down to the ring, Andrew holding the ropes open for his valet before stepping into the ring himself. A serious look on his face, McMartyn takes a microphone from Ralph Tuck and signals for his music to be cut. The fans are booing loudly as Andrew begins to address them. ]

ANDREW: “In just three short days, CWF Whiplash will be upon us. And after a whole lot of controversy, the three individuals that will compete for the CWF Championship this Sunday have been decided. Phil Leach, Dan Jones and Andrew McMartyn. Three icons of this company, three old hands, three hardened veterans. At CWF Whiplash, the three of us will collide; it won’t be the first time, and it won’t be the last

But you see, there’s so much more on the line this time. Not only are the three of us duking it out to find out who really is the best, not only are we battling to decide who walks out of the Amphitheatre this Sunday the CWF Champion. At Whiplash, we’re going to find out who has the best backer, whose corporate sponser is going to bring their boy home the gold. But who are you, the public, going to give the nod to? Your beloved Phil Leach and his holier-than-thou guardian angel my mother?”

[A massive cheer goes up at the mention of Phil’s name. Andrew scowls blackly.]

ANDREW: “… I thought as much. But consider the other options … Dan Jones and the new girl on the block, Acid. Could they have a shot? And of course, there’s the third party in this little championship equation, myself and my dad, CWF President Clive McMartyn. Now if you’re looking at the in-ring capabilities of the three contenders, it’s not hard to pick a winner from that bunch. Sure, Dan Jones may be a technical prodigy, he may have those painful submission moves of his, and Phil Leach? Phil might have his Godforsaken “Swedes” and all his other bar room brawling crendentials, but can either of them really match up to my undeniable skill and finesse inside this ring? Haha, I think not!

But maybe you don’t like that, maybe you want to try and look at the owners in our corner, maybe there one of the other teams will have the edge over me? Sorry, peasants, think again. You see, Acid, she's just small fry, a temporary inconvenience that my father will soon dispose off. And my dear mother, Mrs McMartyn? Well, she may be all very well and good running things in the office, but down at ringside, on the front line, things are painfully different Mum, you’re a novice at this game and it shows … you just plain backed the wrong horse. My father, Clive R C McMartyn is the founder of this great company; he’s forgotten more about the CWF than anyone else will ever learn. A true mastermind, and the mastermind behind my quest to win the CWF Championship for a unprecedented SIXTH time this Sunday night.

We’re into the final furlong now, people, and it’s purely a three horse race. Ask yourselves, who are you gonna back? Well here’s my hot tip for the day; the SMART money is on Andrew McMartyn!”

Andrew McMartyn vs Clint Hill
Referee Adrian Davies

[Andrew tosses the microphone to Ralph Tuck as “Beautiful Creatures” begins to play. An angry looking Clint Hill strides down to the ring, receiving a strongly mixed reaction from the fans. Hill slides in under the rope as Natasha steps to the outside. The two opponents meet face to face in the middle of the ring, the statuesque Hill looking down on his smaller opponent. Hill’s music fades away and the ring bells sounds for the start of the match.

GAV: “Smashing speech there by Andrew McMartyn, but Clint Hill doesn’t look happen with the CWF owner!”

TAFF: “There’s a lot of bad blood between these two after Tuesday night, Gav … this could get messy!”

[Hill encourages McMartyn to take the first shot, but Andrew just turns away and laughs. Quick as a shot, the sneaky McMartyn swings a punch at Hill, who blocks and fires back with a series of right hooks. Andrew staggers back, only to be grabbed and whipped to the ropes. A big Back Body Drop by Clint Hill! Andrew yells out and staggers to his feet, charging his opponent. Hill is ready, and scoops the charging McMartyn up onto his shoulder. Running Powerslam by Clint Hill! He makes the cover- 1 … 2 … Kickout ! Andrew surprises his opponent with a rake to the eyes and blasts him across the chest with a succession of knife-edge chops. A whip by Andrew is followed by a Monkey Toss to the mat. The CWF Title contender hits a speedy Snap Suplex and floats over for the cover- 1 … 2 … No.]

TAFF: “Andrew McMartyn is right you know- no-one can beat him when it comes to in-ring skill!”

GAV: “I don’t know Taff … as fantastic as he is, there are others who are equally as fantastic!”

[Andrew McMartyn whips Hill to the turnbuckle and delivers more chops before reaching up and choking the grappler with his foot. Andrew breaks before the five-count and whips Hill across the ring to the opposite turnbuckle. He charges his opponent, but Clint grabs him and plants Andrew McMartyn to the mat with a bone-splintering Spinebuster! Hill floors his foe with a Clothesline and whips him to the ropes. Sidewalk Slam by Clint Hill- 1 … 2 … Kickout! Andrew escapes the pin and quickly rolls to the outside, a fearful look on his face.]

GAV: “Clint Hill has Andrew McMartyn on the retreat here! Brilliant!”

[Clint Hill rolls to the outside and advances on Andrew, who is doubled up and trying to catch his breath against the ring apron. Hill makes a charge, but as quick as lightning McMartyn spins around Drop-Toe-Holds him into the steel ring steps! The sly superstar was playing possum! There is a loud crash as Hill’s face bounces off the metal. Andrew quickly capitalises, rolling his stunned opponent into the ring, and slides in himself, covering Hill for the pin. 1 … 2 … NO! Clint Hill somehow manages to kick out at the last second! Andrew yells at referee Adrian Davies and then proceeds to throttle a vulnerable Hill around the neck. After a vicious stamp to the face, McMartyn drags him to his feet and whips Hill as hard as he can into one of the turnbuckles. Andrew McMartyn looks for his patented Rebound DDT, but Clint explodes out of the corner with a massive running forearm! Andrew stumbles to his feet and right into his opponent, allowing him to hit a Pump-Handle Slam! Clint covers- 1 … 2 … Kickout!]

TAFF: “That was so close! I can’t believe Andrew McMartyn kicked out!!”

[Clint argues angrily with official Adrian Davies, but from behind Andrew dives towards him- Anklelock! With a loud whoop Andrew clamps on his submission finisher, dragging his victim into the centre of the ring. Hill screams out in pain and frantically tries to reach for the ropes. The CWF superstar can’t reach, but instead manages to flip around and nail Andrew with a big kick to the face! Andrew drops to the mat and lets go of Hill’s ankle, as both men clamber to their feet. Hill swings for his opponent with a big right hook, but McMartyn dodges and hits a Reverse DDT! With Hill down, Andrew McMartyn ascends to the top ropes. He waits till Hill is up again, and looks for a Missile Dropkick- but Clint Hill throws himself into the corner and knocks Andrew off his feet. McMartyn crotches himself on the turnbuckle, and Clint ascends the ropes to join him.]

GAV: “Fantastic! Clint Hill is looking for his trademark Top Rope Piledriver!”

TAFF: “Oh my god! If he nails this Andrew McMartyn will be in hospital for a year!”

[Hill sets his opponent up for his devastating finisher, but Andrew counters by poking his attacker in the eyes! McMartyn shoves his opponent to the mat, turns around, and launches himself into the air – Moonsault on the way! NO! Clint Hill moves and Andrew crashes painfully into the mat! Both men are down now as Adrian Davies applies the ten-count 1 … 2 …. 3 … 4 … 5 … Slowly, both competitors climb to their feet. Andrew spins round uncertainly, seemingly unaware of where he is, stumbling straight into Hill’s grip! Clint Hill calls for the Chokeslam! NO! Undetected to the official, Andrew nails Hill with a kick to the groin … Final Solution! McMartyn drives his opponent into the mat- 1 … 2 … 3! The bell rings and “Control” begins to play as Andrew has his hand raised by Adrian Davies. The CWF Championship hopeful receives a celebratory kiss from Natasha before the couple exit the ring.]

TUCK: “The winner of this match- ANDREW MCMARTYN!”

[A triumphant Andrew makes his way up the ramp and into the back, leaving a knocked out Clint Hill lying in the ring.]

GAV: “An impressive victory for Andrew McMartyn here tonight- next stop, Whiplash!”

[In the CWF President’s personal office, Mr McMartyn is discussing something with his right hand men, Ingham and Quarterman when his office door suddenly slams open and an angry looking Hardcore Hammond storms into the room. The startled CWF President turns to face his intruder.]

MCMARTYN: “Ah, er … Mr Hammond, what exactly are you doing, barging in on me like this?”

HAMMOND: “What am I doing? I’ve come here to ask for a match, that’s what., a match against that no-good coward who attacked me in the ring Tuesday night and COST me my shot at the CWF Intercontinental Title! I want him in a match, McMartyn, and I want a BURIED ALIVE match!”

[As Ingham and Quarterman exchange worried glances, Mr McMartyn laughs nervously.]

MCMARTYN: “ A Buried Alive match you say? No no no, I certainly can’t condone anything of that nature, totally out of the question. And besides, how are you planning on getting this masked individual to the ring? We hardly can threaten him to wrestle as we don’t know his identity!”

HAMMOND: “Damnit! I want to get my hands on him! If that loser shows up again…”

MCMARTYN: “Listen, listen young Hammond. As a conciliatory gesture, perhaps I can organise an alternative confrontation for you at Whiplash … one with hardcore Implications one might say.”

[Hardcore Hammond calms down and watches the boss carefully.]

HAMMOND: “I’m listening …”

MCMARTYN: “What would you say, Hardcore Hammond, to a one-on-one battle with Damian Ali on Sunday night … a battle for Ali’s Hardcore Title?”

[A smile breaks out onto Hammond’s face.]

HAMMOND: “I’d say you got yourself a match! This Sunday, Damian Ali will find out what truly puts the “hardcore” in Hardcore Hammond…”

[Hammond turns and leaves the room. An angry McMartyn turns on his assistants.]

MCMARTYN: “Next time that ingrate barges into my office he can consider himself well and truly F-I-R-E-D!!!”

HARDCORE MATCH
Kyle Reece vs Nightmare

Referee: Dennis Morgan

['Give me fuel! Give me fire! Give me that which I desire!']

TUCK: This match is a hardcore match. Introducing first from New York, weighing in at 215lbs... KYLE REECE!

[Red and orange pyrotechnics explode as Kyle Reece makes his way through the crowd. He climbs over the barrier and then into the ring. He sheds his coat and waits for his opponent...]

GAV: Man! Reece looks peeved!

TAFF: Can you blame him? Acid booked him in this match. This is the last thing he needs before his title shot against Hans Grip at Whiplash on Sunday. He gets injuried here and he might lose out in that match. It's so unfair!

GAV: Well, I suppose the VP felt that Reece needed to reminded who is boss in this fed and set up this match as a result. One things for certain, he doesn't think much of Dan Jones, does he?

TAFF: Not at all! Did you see the way he was looking at him on Tuesday night? I thought they were gonna go at it there and then! A totally unprovoked attack if Acid had let it happen!

GAV: Apparently, there's more to this Reece-Acid-Dan than meets the eye...

['Super Beast' by Rob Zombie plays loudly over the arena's sound system as Nightmare comes down to the ring, pushing a shopping trolley full of weapons for the match.]

TUCK: And his opponent, from Bland, Vancouver, he weighs in a t 238lbs... NIGHTMARE!!!

[Nightmare picks out a 2x4 and enters the ring on the left side. He goes to each turnbuckle and raises his weapon into the air, much to the approval of the crowd.]

[DING! DING! DING!]

[Nightmare and Reece start circling each other in the ring. Nightmare & Reece come together for a tie-up but Reece drops to his knees and punches Nightmare to the gut. Nightmare doubles over. Reece gets to his feet and starts clubbing the back of Nightmare's neck. Reece grabs Nightmare and wrenches his arm. Reece wrenches hard at Nightmare's neck, then wraps Nightmare's arm around his own neck and takes him down in a neck breaker. Reece drops his left elbow into the heart of Nightmare, gets up and bounces off the ropes and dropping his knee into the face of Nightmare.]

GAV: Kyle Reece is showing an aggressive nature that I've never seen from him before! What brutality!

TAFF: I wonder if this is a taste of things to come!

[Reece lifts Nightmare to his feet and starts punching him to the face. Reece tries to whip Nightmare but gets reversed into the ropes. Reece bounces off the ropes and Nightmare clotheslines him to the mat. Nightmare stomps Reece to the head, bounces off the ropes and body splashes onto Reece. Nightmare picks Kyle Reece and starts chopping at his chest. Reece stumbles back into a turnbuckle and Nightmare clotheslines him so hard that he goes over the top and to the outside.] GAV: Look at the power Nightmare has in those forearms! [Nightmare climbs through the ropes onto the apron. Kyle Reece gets to his feet, Nightmare jumps off and knocks Reece down with a double axe handle smash to the face. Nightmare picks Reece up and throws him against the nearest ring post. Reece bounces off, Nightmare lifts him up and flapjacks him head first onto the crowd barrier. Reece springs backward upon impact, Nightmare covers and hooks back his legs...]

[..1..]

[..2..]

[..Reece kicks out.]

[Kyle Reece gets to his feet, Nightmare grabs him by the arm, half whips him but then takes him down with a clothesline. Nightmare lifts the ring apron sheet up and pulls a table out from under the ring. He slides it into the ring and then pulls out a steel chair. Reece gets to his feet, Nightmare drives the chair into Reece's gut, drops the chair down and then DDT's him onto it. Nightmare picks Reece up, slams him face first onto the steel ring steps and then rolls him into the ring. Nightmare gets back into the ring and sets up the table in the centre.]

GAV: This could be bad for Kyle Reece.

[Nightmare picks up Reece, who is bleeding from the forehead, and kicks him in the gut. Nightmare lifts Reece onto his shoulders and is about to power bomb him through the table, but Reece starts punching Nightmare in the face causing Nightmare to drop Reece. Reece kicks Nightmare in the gut, grapples him and delivers a northern lights suplex through the table. Reece holds Nightmare for the pin...]

GAV: HOLY SHlT!!!!! What a suplex from Reece.

[..1..]

[..2..]

[..Nightmare kicks out.]

TAFF: How did Nightmare manage to kick out of that?!

GAV: I have no idea...I thought Reece had this one wrapped up then.

[Reece pulls Nightmare to his feet and takes him down with a reverse Russian leg sweep. Reece rolls out of the ring and pulls out two trashcans from the trolley. Reece throws them into the ring and slides back into the ring. Reece picks up one of the trashcans and beats Nightmare with it. Nightmare gets to his feet despite Reece hitting him with trashcans. Reece throws the trashcans away and chops at Nightmare's chest. Reece whips Nightmare against the ropes and power slams him upon return. Reece stands up, bounces off the ropes and drops his right leg onto Nightmare. Reece thinks about a cover but gets to his feet. He picks up the steel chair and sets it up for sitting on; Reece then grabs the second trashcan and puts that on the seat of the chair. Reece lifts Nightmare up to his feet. Reece grabs Nightmare by the throat for a chokeslam but Nightmare kicks him to the gut and then hip tosses him onto the trashcan and chair.]

GAV: What a reversal by Nightmare!

[Nightmare picks Reece up and whips him into a turnbuckle. Nightmare runs at Reece and splashes him in the turnbuckle. Nightmare grabs Reece by the head and delivers a running bulldog in the centre of the ring. Nightmare climbs onto the top rope and goes for a splash on Reece but Reece rolls out of the way just in time. Reece gets to his feet, Nightmare follows, Reece kicks him to the knees, but Nightmare remains on his feet. Reece bounces off the ropes and goes for a clothesline, but Nightmare ducks and back body drops Reece up into the air and he lands throat first on the top rope. Reece stumbles back into a school boy roll up from Nightmare...]

GAV: Nightmare may have Reece here!

[Suddenly, the lights in the arena go down. The crowd start mumbling and wondering what is going on... in darkness.]

GAV: What is going on? We've lost power here.

TAFF: This is f*cking ridiculous!

[The lights come back about a minute later...Nightmare is on his back, bleeding from the face. Kyle Reece is on his feet and has a sledgehammer in his hand. Reece looks as confused as everybody else present in the arena, but quickly drops the sledgehammer and covers Nightmare...]

GAV: What the hell happened?! Where the hell did Reece get that sledgehammer?!

[..1..]

[..2..]

[..3..]

TUCK: Here is your winner... KYLE REECE!!!

[Kyle Reece gets to his feet, but is still perplexed about what has happened.]

GAV: What the hell? Someone must have helped Reece to win this match... but who?

TAFF: In the words of the Greasy Mexican- 'aye carumba!' This is a total mystery!

GAV: Well, Nightmare certainly won't be happy about this- when he wakes up that is!

[There is a general buzzing from the crowd as they await the scheduled match. It is quite a surprise when the familiar introduction to "Pushing Me Away" starts up. A majority of the fans start jeering, but an audible number actually give off a pop. Dan strolls onto the stage, wearing neither his coat nor hat. He is dressing in a grey T-shirt and black jeans. He is carrying a mic, ready to speak, so he proceeds no further down the ramp. He makes a few of his usual stances, gaining a mix of heat and pops.]

GAV: "Dan has just come out here to address the fans!"

TAFF: "I wonder if this is about the Whiplash title matchup?!"

[Dan paces on the stage as his music comes to a finish, then, after the fans' chants have died as well, he lifts the mic to speak.]

DAN: "Some of you might be surprised to see me, since I'm not part of tonight's card. Well, let me assure you all that I am NOT here to run into Phil's matchup later on, tonight."

[There are a couple of small pops in response to the mention of the "Gentleman Pimp". Dan ignores it.]

DAN: "As you might have guessed, I am here to talk about... WHIPLASH!"

[The mention of the upcoming CWF PPV is sufficient to send the crowd into a frenzy. Dan waits for quiet before speaking again.]

DAN: "Now, MOST of you have probably noticed that the main event has recently been declared as... A TRIPLE THREAT MATCH!"

TAFF: "I bet half of them didn't even realise there was a PPV!"

[More cheering at the anticipation of this main event match.]

DAN: "You may also have noticed that several people have a lot riding on this match. Clive McMartyn, Jud McMartyn and my own sponsor, Acid, have all staked their reputations on this one outcome."

TAFF: "I never thought Jud or Acid HAD any reputations to stake!"

[He pauses and keeps pacing the stage.]

DAN: "Now, I know that a lot of you want Phil to walk away as the first CWF Champion."

[The mention of Phil and the title in one sentence almost raises the roof.]

DAN: "Which probably means that the same number want Andrew to lose the match...."

[This also gains a big pop.]

DAN: "Well, I can say that you won't be totally disappointed! Andrew will DEFINITELY lose that match!"

[This gets the crowd on their feet, hearing the promise of their hated dictator getting his just deserts.]

DAN: "But I can also tell you that there is NO WAY Phil will walk away with that belt!"

[This gains an opposite reaction, giving Dan some severe heat.]

GAV: "Dan is making a lot of promises here! I hope he can keep them all!"

TAFF: "Well, he's right about Phil not being the champ! I can't see that happening ever!"

DAN: "What you have to realise is that this match is the perfect set up for me! I get to kick the asses of my two, least favourite people, THEN I can walk away as the NEW CWF CHAMPION!"

[Heat. Lots and lots of heat greets this announcement.]

DAN: "I don't mean any disrespect to Acid. I probably wouldn't have gotten here if not for her influence, but I am not going to compete in that match for her sake. I am doing it only for myself. What I believe, above all else, is that the only thing I can really trust is my own ability! I rely on no-one for ANYTHING!"

[The fans have resorted to their mixed reaction, still unsure how to react to Dan.]

DAN: "Now, I know Jud isn't likely to try anything to tip the match. Acid, I'm telling you now to just keep out of it. Clive, I know you well enough. If you attempt to interfere, I shall have no choice but to consider you part of the match, and deal with you as I shall with Andrew and Phil! This is one battle I plan to fight on my own! No matter the outcome, the one thing that will be certain is that I gave it all I had, and did it on my own!"

TAFF: "Is that it? It seems kind of... unfinished..."

[No music starts up as Dan turns to leave. He takes two steps, then turns around.]

DAN: "Oh, and one last thing... Andrew, Phil,... See you in the ring!"

[This time "Pushing Me Away" starts up, signalling the end of his announcement. Dan strolls into the backstage area, leaving the clamouring fans awaiting the rest of the show.]

WOMEN'S MATCH
Spark Girl vs Felicia

Referee: Gary Willis

[As 'Flash' hits a large firework makes its way down to the stage and explodes in pink and yellow pyro. Spark Girl emerges to the sheer of the fans. She makes a taunt similar to The Blue Flash and then makes her way to the ring and rolls in.]

TUCK: This match is scheduled for one fall. In the ring… SPARK GIRL!!!

GAV: Well, here she comes! The Blue Flash's sidekick- Spark Girl!

TAFF: And what a spark she is! Y'know Gav, I think I know why they call her 'Spark Girl.'

GAV: Really? Why is that?

TAFF: Coz out of her and the Blue Flash- she's the only one who has a 'spark' of intelligence!

GAV: ……. That was a really bad joke, Taff!

[The house lights go red and a scream is heard over the PA. "Bodies" by Drowning Pool begins to play and when the chant ends and the real music hits out comes Felicia to a mixed reaction, they don't know whether to hate her or drool over her. She blows a mock kiss at the crowd before she gives them a huge "up yours" motion. Out comes Damian Ali and the two go down to the ring taunting the fans as they pass.]

TUCK: And her opponent, being accompanied to the ring by the CWF Hardcore Champion, Damian Ali- FELICIA!!!]

GAV: Taff, isn't this the part where you drool over the lovely lady about to enter the ring?

TAFF: Normally, I would, but I'm afraid of what Damian Ali might do to me if I did!

[Felicia enters the ring whilst Damian stays outside the ring. Referee Gary Willis calls for the bell…]

[DING! DING! DING!]

[Felicia comes out of her corner and confronts Spark Girl. The twop women stand nose to nose. Felicia has a look of pure evil on her face, whilst Spark Girl stares bravely back. Suddenly, Felicia kicks Spark Girl in the gut and gives her a DDT on the canvas!]

GAV: A vicious start to this match by Felicia!

[Felicia goes to whip Spark Girl off the ropes, but Spark Girl reverses, sending Felicia flying into the ropes. As Felicia gets propelled back, Spark Girl gives her a tilt-a-whirl slam! Felicia slams down on the mat and Spark Girl gets up, going to the ring apron, and then to the top rope. She then jumps off the top rope and waits. Felicia raggedly gets to her feet and as she does, Spark Girl launches herself from the top rope, performing her patented move 'the Spark!' Felicia east canvas once again…]

GAV:: That was HUGE!

[Spark Girl then pulls back Felicia's leg]

[..1..]

[..2..]

[…Felicia kicks out!]

[Spark Girl gets up and walks away from Felicia who is using the ropes to get up. Spark Girl waits to pounce and runs at Felicia, but Felicia reverses Spark Girl's attack and uses her offence to give Spark Girl a flapjack on the ropes! Spark Girl bounces back off the ropes and crashes to the mat and Felicia gives her a leg drop! Spark Girl is reeling and staggers around as she gets up, Felicia is ready for Spark Girl to see her and as Spark Girl turns Felicia delivers an overhead belly-to-belly suplex on Spark Girl! Spark Girl goes flying and slams against the mat on the other side of the ring. Spark Girl then tries to get up as Felicia poses to the fans, whilst Damian Ali applauds his girlfriend.]

TAFF: Wow! [With Spark Girl halfway up, Felicia pulls her to a standing position and whips her into the corner. Felicia walks over to the corner and props Spark Girl up to the top and climbs to the same level.]

GAV: Felicia is looking to finish Spark Girl off!

[Felicia looks to pull off a super plex but Spark Girl punches Felicia in the stomach and then spears her off the turnbuckle! Both women crash on the mat and Spark Girl drags an arm over Felicia…]

[..1..]

[..2..]

[..No! Felicia kicks out again!]

[Spark Girl is shocked that Felicia continues to kick out. She gets up and signals the end for Felicia. She lifts Felicia up and goes for the Sparkster. She is just about to execute the move when Felicia starts to struggle free and gives Spark Girl a back body drop! Spark Girl gets up but walks right into a dropkick! Felicia then whips the reeling Spark Girl off the ropes and slams her down with a destructive spinebuster! As Spark Girl tries to recover Felicia climbs the top rope… PHILLY HIT!!! Felicia flies through the air with her signature move, but Spark Girl rolls out of the way! Felicia hits the canvas and is winded. Spark Girl sees an opportunity for a pin and takes it…]

[..1..]

[..2..]

[..What? That's Damian Ali! The Hardcore Champion just pulled Spark Girl out the ring!]

[Referee Gary Willis protests, but is suddenly distracted by an apparently distressed Felicia. Willis goes to check on Felicia and while his back is turned, Damian lock in the Contract Hit on Spark Girl on the outside! Spark Girl cries out in pain. Gary Willis rushes to see what the fuss is about, and Damian releases his hold on Spark Girl before Willis sees him. Damian throws the damaged Spark Girl back into the ring and Willis begins the ten count as the two women struggle to their feet.]

[..1..]

[..2..]

[..3..]

[Felcia gets to her feet by the three count,. But Spark Girl is still down. Felicia climbs the turnbuckle. She's going for the 'Philly Hit' again. She launches… and impacts on top of Spark Girl! Felicia hooks the leg…]

[..1..]

[..2..]

[..3!!!]

[Ding, Ding, Ding!!!]

TUCK: Winner of this match... FELICIA!!!

[Damian Ali jumps into the ring and embraces Felicia and the two begin to taunt the injured Spark Girl and crowd as 'Bodies' plays over the arenas sound system!]

[In the arena, all the women wrestlers of the CWF are gathered in the ring.]

TAFF: Oh my God! It's a puppy-fest out here!

GAV: Yeah! All the ladies of the CWF are waiting for the vice president to come out here. Apparantly, she has an announcement to make.

[The arena goes pitch black. Music, or more like the sound of a man being gutted to harsh guitar riffs, plays over the sound system as some captions flash onto the big screen-

"Worthlessness is only the beginning... Life does not begin until... you comprehend... that one day... you too will die..."

There's a flash of white light as the opening riffs to 'Left Behind' scream out over the arena. The arena lightens up slightly as from the curtain emerges Acid.]

TUCK: Being accompanied to the ring by Julai Parker, the CWF Vice President... ACID!!!

[Acid strides confidently down the ramp, followed closely by Julia. The two women climb into the ring and Acid takes the microphone from Ralph Tuck. Her music dies and the vice president lifts the mic to her lips...]

ACID: OK! Now you're all probably wondering why I've dragged you all out here?

[The women in the ring nod in unison. Acid acknowledges this and continues...]

ACID: Well, we are here to address the situation surrounding the CWF Women's Championship. As you very well know, on Sunday it is our first PPV, and you may have noticed that there are no ladies matches scheduled. Well, I'm about to change that. You see, I've decided to book you all in a match at Whiplash that will determine the new CWF Women's Champion!

[The crowd roar with excitment whilst the women in the ring smile and chuckle with ethusiasm. Acid, too, smiles and continues with her address...]

ACID: The stipulations, however, need to discussed. First of all, this is a royal rumble type match. There will only be two of you in the ring at a time. When one of you is eliminated, another will take your place. With me so far?

[The women nod. Acid begins to pace.]

ACID: Julia has a list of the order that you will be entering the ring. The further down you are on the list- the more chance you have to win, so Julia if you would please read the order...

[Acid hands Julia the mic, and Julia unfolds a piece of paper that she has just taken out of her pocket...]

JULIA: The first two to start off the match will be... STEPHANIE...

[Stephanie's face turns from excitment to misery. She is not impressed. Acid smiles.]

ACID: I told Razor that I hadn't forgotten about you, and since you claim to be the number 1 female in the CWF I thought that it would be fitting that you would go first!

[The crowd roars with laughter. Stephanie is unhappy and leaves the ring, the fans booing her out of the arena. Stephanie utters some obscentites under her breath, directed at the CWF VP before exiting via the curtains. Julia continues...]

JULIA: Like I said, the first two to start off the match will be... STEPHANIE and MORGAN, followed by SPARK GIRL, FAITH, GRANDMA and FELICIA.

[Acid takes the mic from Julia.]

ACID: Now, you're probably wondering why I'm not in the match, right? Well, on Sunday night I will need all the energy I can muster in order to give my support to the man who will be crowded the new CWF Champion. However, I will still be in the match... as the special guest referee!

GAV: She's going to referee the match herself! Wow!

ACID: Now, if you girls are OK with that arrangement then you can all go back to your daily business, but if you're not, then I've got two words for you... GET BENT!

[The crowd say the words "GET BENT!" in unison with the VP. 'Left Behind' plays and Acid and Julia leave the ring and the CWF women behind.]

[Inside The Red Gra, the CWF fans are excitedly awaiting the next match. Suddenly, the “McMartynTron” screen begins to flash strangely and red lights flicker on and off throughout the arena. The same cryptic message that flashed across the screen Tuesday night is shown again, as skull motifs fly around the screen.]

Soon … HE … will return …

[Glass shatters loudly over the PA and the sound of “Shaft” smoothes through the air. The message ends and all returns to normal inside the arena. The audience is left buzzing however, as to what exactly is the meaning of this strange display.]

Hardcore Hammond/Blue Flash vs Damian Ali/Kid Punk
Referee: Gary Willis

TUCK: "This is a tag team match, set for one fall..."

TAFF: "This should be good! I bet we get a good show from Ali and Punk."

TUCK: "...Introducing first..."

["Flash" is the first music to hit the PA. Hardcore Hammond walks onto the ramp alongside the Flash and Spark Girl. As his partner performs his "hero" pose, Hammond slaps his hand to his forehead and covers his eyes with embarassment. Nonetheless, they both recieve a tremendous pop.]

TUCK: "...Accompanied by SPARK GIRL, the team of HARDCORE HAMMOND AND THE BLUE FLASH!"

[Hammond and his whacky partner proceed to the ring, Spark Girl remaining outside. Flash leaves his cape on one of the turnbuckles, and the two men retreat to their corner for a brief conversation.]

GAV: "I think this team have a smashing chance to win, here."

TUCK: "And their opponents..."

["Seek and Destroy" starts up and Ali, Kid Punk and Felicia make their appearance, accompanied by some major crowd heat.]

TUCK: "...Accompanied by FELICIA, the team of DAMIAN ALI AND KID PUNK!"

TAFF: "These guys are definitely my pick to win, here!"

[Ali and Punk slide into the ring, leaving Felicia outside, keeping a suspicious eye on Spark Girl. Gary Willis calls for two men to start off the match. Damian Ali steps up, as does Hardcore Hammond. Willis calls for the bell.]

TAFF: "Here we go, Gav!"

GAV: "Super!"

[The two men go at it furiously, trading rights and lefts wildly. Hammond comes of best, due to his impressive size. He staggers Ali, then whips him. Ali, however, counters by hitting a Neckbreaker on Hammond. He starts stomping the fallen man, and steers him to the corner. Ali tags in Kid Punk and they double team Hammond, stomping him down to the mat. Gary Willis manages to force Ali out of the ring, leaving Kid Punk and Hammond as the legal men.]

TAFF: "See how in control they are? I think it's obvious Damian Ali and Kid Punk are the superior wrestlers here!"

GAV: "Well, Blue Flash hasn't even been in the ring yet!"

[Kid Punk takes it to Hammond, hitting a Jaw Breaker, then stomping on his leg. Punk applies a side Leglock. Gary Willis drops beside Hammond, whose face is contorted in pain. Hardcore tries to struggle over to the ropes, and almost makes it, but Kid Punk sees his plan and pulls him away.]

GAV: "Hammond is really getting into trouble!"

[Hammond again tries to get to the ropes, stretching with all his might. Kid Punk stops him! Just when things are looking worst for Hammond, Blue Flash appears from nowhere and clubs Kid Punk. Gary Willis immediately steers him back to his corner, but the save has been made.]

TAFF: "Huh! That was lucky for Hammond! His number was definitely up, there!"

[Kid Punk stumbles to his corner, looking annoyed and tags in Ali. Flash and Spark girl shout encouragement to Hammond to make a tag. Ali has other ideas. He starts stomping Hammond, then pulls him up and whips him. Hammond is planted with a blistering Powerslam. Ali covers: One.

Two.

Kickout!]

GAV: "This really doesn't look super for Hardcore Hammond!"

[Ali pulls Hammond to his feet and whips him. Ali ducks, leaving himself wide open. Hammond, gathering the last of his wits, counters with a Chin Crusher, sending them both to the mat.]

TAFF: "Now they're both down! Come on Ali!"

GAV: "Hammond desperately needs that tag!"

[Hamond tries to crawl over to his corner, but Ali is recovering quicker. Using the ropes for support, the Hardcore Champ staggers over to Kid Punk and makes the tag. Punk runs in and cuts off Hammond. Grabbing his leg and pulling him back into the ring. He pulls Hardcore to his feet, still holding his leg, but before Punk can pull off a move, Hammond catches him with an Enziguri!]

GAV: "What a fantastic counter by Hardcore Hammond!"

[Hammond scrabbles the last few feet, stretches his arm... and gets the tag! Blue Flash bounds over the ropes, eager to clock some ring time. He charges Kid Punk, Clotheslining him to the mat. Damian Ali runs in, seeing the tide turning, but Flash sidesteps, then tosses Ali through the ropes. Flash gets Kid Punk to his feet and hits a Snap Suplex.]

GAV: "Brilliant! Blue Flash is on fire!"

[Rather than pinning, Blue Flash keeps hold of Kid Punk. He rolls over, and raises them both to their feet, then hits another Snap Suplex. He does it again! Once more! Flash hits one, final Suplex, then bridges for the pin: One.

Two.

Kickout!]

GAV: "Wow! What smashing multiple Snap Suplexes by the Blue Flash!"

[Flash leaps to his feet, still full of energy. Damian Ali slides into the ring again, and charges Flash. Blue Flash sees him in time, and counters with a Drop Toe Hold. Kid Punk also staggers to his feet, before Flash whips him into the corner. Flash then whips Ali to the opposite corner.]

TAFF: "What is that maniac planning?!"

[Flash gives his fans a quick "hero" pose, then runs at Ali, hitting a big Body Avalanche. Ali slumps against the turnbuckles, but stays on his feet. Flash uses his momentum to run at the other corner, flattening Kid Punk against the ringpost, too. Once more, Flash runs at Ali, hits another Avalanche. He runs at Kid Punk, hits it again. Flash pauses to taunt, before running at Ali once more. This time, Flash has waited too long. Damian Ali sticks his foot in the air. Flash runs right into it, spinning around and stumbling towards Kid Punk. Punk runs out of his corner and nails Flash with a Clothesline. Both Ali and Punk are looking tired, and Hammond is still suffering from earlier. Ali and Punk begin stomping on Flash, until Gary Willis breaks them up and orders Ali to the apron.]

GAV: "Kid Punk and Damian Ali are now firmly in control."

[Kid Punk lifts up Blue Flash, then drops him with a Piledriver. He tags in Ali. Ali pulls up Flash and pulls off a beautiful Fisherman's Suplex Pin: One.

Two.

Hammond makes the save!]

TAFF: "Damian Ali had that won!"

[Ali staggers to his feet, as Gary Willis drives Hammond out of the ring. Hammond calls to Flash to tag, but Ali has other ideas. As Flash finds his feet, Ali attacks him with a Back Drop. Ali stands up Flash and makes a tag to Kid Punk. Punk whips Flash, but enimatic "superhero" reverses it. Flash backs into the ropes, ready to go after Punk, but Ali pulls down on the top rope, causing Flash to topple out of the ring. Kid Punk rolls under the ropes, going after his enemy. Hardcore Hammond, meanwhile, steps into the ring to face Damian Ali.]

TAFF: "This is descending into chaos! Do something, Gav!"

[Hammond tries to Clothesline Ali, but the wily Hardcore Champ ducks, then kicks Hammond in the gut and plants him with a DDT. Flash and Punk are battling around the ring, neither really gaining much advantage. Ali tries to pin Hammond, but Gary Willis informs him neither one is legal. Ali gets annoyed and stands up to shout at Willis.]

TAFF: "What's Gary Willis doing?! Why won't he count?!"

GAV: "Well, technically neither Ali nor Hammond is legal!"

[As Ali berates the ref, Hammond rises up behind him. He spins round Ali, then Clotheslines him over the ropes. Hardcore then rolls out of the ring to follow. Shortly after, Flash rolls Kid Punk into the ring. He stands Punk up, then tries a whip. Punk ducks a Clothesline, then counters with... a "Punk Kick"!]

TAFF: "He did it! Kid Punk hit his finisher on Flash!"

[Kid Punk quickly runs to the corner and climbs the ringpost. Spark Girl sees his plan and runs over to stop him, but Felicia cuts her off, tackling the daffy sidekick to the floor. The two women roll around scratching and shouting at each other. Kid Punk doesn't notice any of this, however, and executes his second finisher.]

TAFF: "STAGE DIVE! STAGE DIVE! There's no way Flash will get up after that!"

[With the last of his strength, Kid Punk rolls over for a pin. Hammond sees him. He slides into the ring, hoping to break up the count, but Damian Ali has enough presence of mind to hold onto Hardcore's foot, preventing him getting there. Willis makes the count: One.

Two.

Three!]

TAFF: "They did it! They won! Oh, happy day!"

GAV: "That really was a smashing effort from Hammond and Flash, but sadly not enough."

["Dysentry Gary" hits the PA, causing the crowd to turn to jeering. Ali joins Kid Punk in the ring, along with Felicia. Hardcore Hammond has a face like fire, as he stamps back up the entry ramp, cursing to himself. Spark Girl has rolled Flash out of the ring and is tending to him on the outside.]

TUCK: "Your winners, KID PUNK AND DAMIAN ALI!"

[The fans continue to boo as Felicia raises Ali and Punk's arms in victory.]

[A huge cheer rings out from the watching fans in the arena; we see ‘The Huckster’ Bob Jones backstage in his locker room! The CWF veteran is sitting down and polishing his spectacles when Clint Hill forcefully enters the room. The Huckster looks up and squints to see who it is, but can’t make them out. He slips his glasses back on and greets his visitor.]

HUCKSTER: “Hey, brother.”

HILL: “Don’t you “Hey Brother” me, pal. You’ve got a lot to answer for after Tuesday night…”

[The Huckster’s smile fades, and he stands up, a stern look on his face. Bob Jones looks Hill dead straight in the eye.]

HUCKSTER: “And what do you mean by that exactly?”

[This query is met with a sarcastic laugh from Clint Hill.]

HILL: “Oh, what did you do exactly? Cost us that match, that’s what! I saw you, Huckster, turning on the team in the heat of the moment, throwing away our chances, costing us a certain victory! I lost because of you, and I damn sure ain’t happy!”

HUCKSTER: “You lost the match because of ME? Brother, I’d take a look at what Andrew McMartyn did Tuesday night … he put his hands on both of us, dude. That ain’t cool, and if anything lost us that match, it was him.”

HILL: “Was Andrew McMartyn the one raising the other team’s hand at the end of the match, Huckster? No, I didn’t think so. You know what I think? I think you’re just trying to shift the blame onto someone else so you don’t have to take responsibility for it! Face it, Bob Jones, you can’t hack it any more here in the CWF.”

[A bright fire burns in the Huckster’s tired eyes. He squares up to Clint Hill, locking on a serious expression]

HUCKSTER: “Brother, the day The Huckster can’t “hack it” in the CWF will be the day he’s six foot under! Let me suggest something, dude; lay off the finger pointing when you don’t know what you’re talking about!”

HILL: “No! Let ME suggest something to YOU, old timer. Why don’t you try and “hack it” with me in the ring this Sunday? I’ll show you what the next generation is all about!”

HUCKSTER: “A match one-on-one this Sunday? Brother, you got it! Just remember something … prepare yourself for CWF Whiplash my friend. Prepare yourself to ask “What You Gonna Do When This Old Timer Runs Wild On YOU!”

[A huge cheer rises up as The Huckster holds Hill’s gaze for a moment longer, then turns and walks out of view. The shot pans to Clint Hill, who watches his opponent for Whiplash go, a withering gaze on his face.]

Phil ‘The Man’ Leach vs Hans Grip
Referee: Adrian Davies

[Back in the arena, Mr Tuck steps into the ring as the crowd buzz in anticipation of Redemption’s main event. The fans in The Red Gra boo loudly on cue as “Supertooper” begins to play.]

TUCK: “The following match is scheduled for one fall … introducing first, from Gotehburg Sweden, weighing in at 274 lbs, HANS GRIP!”

[The Swedish behemoth makes his way down the entrance ramp, manager Sven Oder-Svensson at his side. The duo climb into the ring, Grip easily stepping over the top rope, and discuss strategy as “Supertrooper” dies down. Svensson is really psyching his charge up for his shot at the big time.]

TAFF: “This Hans Grip is so impressive … he’ll make mincemeat out of Phil Leach here tonight!”

TUCK: “And his opponent …”

[“It’s My Life” hits to a rousing ovation from the capacity Caerleon crowd. Phil ‘The Man’ Leach moonwalks out onto the entrance stage as the cheering almost drowns out Bon Jovi.]

TUCK: “From Llanbadoc Docks Usk, weighing in at 237 lbs, PHIL ‘THE MAN’ LEACH!!”

[The Gentleman Pimp makes his way to the ring, slapping hands as he goes, and climbs in. He removes his Pimp hat, sunglasses and jacket and puts aside his Pimp cane. The jovial Pimp looks across the ring at the massive opponent standing in the corner. Phil wipes his forehead to get rid of the rapidly forming sweat, then charges! The two Swedes are not ready for this pre-emptive attack, and Phil takes Grip completely by surprise, pummeling away at the huge Nordic superstar with furious rights and lefts. Sven Oder-Svensson makes a quick escape from the ring as the bell rings to officially begin the main event.]

GAV: “Smashing strategy here by Phil Leach … take the monster by surprise!”

TAFF: “Phil just better hope Hans Grip doesn’t catch up with him and give him his own back!”

[Hans Grip is in trouble as Phil Leach frantically pounds him around the ring. Phil launches a Pimp Clothesline which doesn’t faze his opponent. Another attempt, but Hans Grip holds. ‘The Man’ attacks with another Pimp Clothesline, which finally knocks Grip to the floor. The Swedish superstar rises up immediately, and gives Phil Leach the nastiest glare of his life! Surprised and a little intimidated, Leach boots Grip in the gut and sets him up for a Piledriver. Instead of dropping him over his back however, Hans Grip’s counter is truly diabolical- he stands upright taking Phil with him- then smashes the Pimp into the ground with a HUGE Spinebuster.]

GAV: “Fantastic power by Hans Grip! Brilliant!”

TAFF: “Haha! Hans Grip was right, the Swede DID plant the Pimp there!”

[Grip scrapes his opponent off the ground and lifts him up by the neck, strangling the life out of him as Phil’s feet wave in mid-air. Phil’s face turns a purple that matches his gaudy shirt before the referee’s five-count breaks the lifting Choke Hold. An inane smile on his face, Grip hoists Phil up and repeats the torture. The Gentleman Pimp staggers to his feet, only for his misery to be compounded with a brutal Brainbuster. His attacker does not go for the instinctive cover, but merely waits for Phil Leach to get up again, prolonging the beating ‘The Man’ is receiving. Phil drags himself up, but Hans smashes him in the mid-section and gives him a devastating Gutwrench Powerbomb!]

GAV: “Gutwrench Powerbomb! It’s over for The Gentleman Pimp, folks!”

[Under his manager’s orders, Hans lightly lies across the prone Pimp for the cover- 1 … 2 … Kickout! A cheer from the crowd indicates surprise that Phil has survived Grip’s onslaught, but the big Swede merely smiles, adulated that he gets to impose more punishment. A confused Phil Leach tries to drag himself up using his opponent for support, but Grip heartlessly hammers him into the ground with a big forearm. The Swede waits patiently in the corner as his opponent pulls himself slowly to his feet. As Phil stands there swaying Grip laughs loudly, then aims a big shot to Phil’s head- no! Phil Leach blocks the blow, and fires back with a flurry of hard chops. This takes Grip by surprise, knocking him back a few steps, and Phil quickly runs to the ropes. He sprints towards Hans Grip, but the behemoth scoops him up and delivers a back shattering Samoan Drop!]

GAV: “Amazing! Hans Grip putting the match right back under his control just like that!”

TAFF: “Phil Leach better get a GRIP! Ahahahaha!”

[Hans Grips smashes Phil Leach with a Backbreaker, then hoists him up again. The massive Scandinavian pulls Phil up into the air and holds him upside down for what seems like an eternity, then slams ‘The Man’ down to the mat hard with a brutal Jackhammer. Firmly in control now, Grip pulls Phil up and runs to the ropes- NO! Out of nowhere, an exhausted Phil Leach counters with a surprise Manhattan Drop- stunning Grip and sending him reeling backwards. The crowd comes alive as The Gentleman Pimp hooks bodies with his opponent and delivers a plethora of trapping Swedes to the Swede! Grip roars in pain and grabs onto his bruised head as Phil Leach measures him- SMACK! Phil smashes his foe to the ground with a huge Swede headbutt, cutting the massive grappler open in the process!]

TAFF: “Damn those Swedes- they always cut your face wide open!”

[His face a crimson mask, Grip sprawls on the canvas while Phil Leach stands over him. ‘The Man’ rubs his chest and swivels his hips while astride his monstrous opponent, then kneels to deliver a series of mounted punches. Phil’s gyrations have given Grip time to recover however, and he grabs onto the Pimp and stands to his feet, instantly getting his opponent in position for his Teuton Crusher! Sitting astride Hans’ shoulders, Phil Leach desperately searches for a counter- and begins biting the forehead of the Nordic warrior! The fans yell in support as Hans drops Phil to his feet in favour of grabbing his bitten temple in pain. As Grip slowly turns around Phil Leach scoops him up and uses all his might to Powerslam the mighty Swede to the mat!]

TAFF: “I can’t believe it: Phil Leach just Powerslammed Hans Grip! Impossible!”

GAV: “Amazing strength! Fantastic!”

[With Hans Grip down and out, Phil Leach slowly climbs the turnbuckle. The Gentleman Pimp signals for the Flying Iron Swede! Phil flies through the air and drives his head straight into the abdomen of his opponent. Grips shudders, then lays still, but Phil Leach can’t summon the strength to crawl over and make the pin! Now Sven Oder-Svensson climbs onto the ring apron and catches the official’s attention. Adrian Davies turns round and yells at the manager to get off the apron, and is oblivious to the figure rushing down to the ring. It’s Andrew McMartyn … armed with a steel chair! McMartyn slides into the ring and aims his weapon at Phil’s head as ‘The Man’ stumbles to his feet. No! Phil Leach ducks, and plants a Swede right in Andrew’s face! McMartyn crashes to the ground with a yelp, clutching his face. Suddenly, Dan Jones appears in the ring! He charges Phil, but is also met with a big Swede. Splat! Dan’s nose explodes in a torrent of blood as Phil’s head smashes into it.]

TAFF: “Oh my god! Everyone’s bleeding in there! Phil Leach is a human wrecking ball!”

[Phil Leach receives a mighty ovation as he picks up Andrew’s steel chair. Smack! Leach catches Andrew with the weapon! Smash! He nails Dan Jones as well. Suddenly, Hans Grip rises up behind him. Phil Leach spins around- Whack! Phil smashes the steel chair over Hans’ head just as referee Adrian Davies turns around! Phil drops the chair but it’s too late- the referee calls for the DQ bell!]

GAV: “Phil Leach got a little “chair-happy” there!”

[Suddenly, Kyle Reece comes running to the ring. He slides in and starts taking it to Hans Grip! Phil looks on in amusement, but Andrew McMartyn is up and nails him from behind! McMartyn kicks away at ‘The Man’, but ‘The Huckster’ Bob Jones rushes down to help! Phil Leach and Bob Jones take it to Andrew and Dan Jones but Clint Hill hits the ring and smashes down The Huckster. Here’s Damian Ali! Closely following him, Hardcore Hammond! Kid Punk is coming to the ring! A huge roar goes up; it’s The Blue Flash! Deftonial runs down! Juice! Razor, Mr Extreme and The Warlock all arrive!]

TAFF: “The whole roster must be in there, Gav!”

[The stars of the CWF all frantically battle against their foes inside the squared circle. Juice gets thrown to the floor … and so does Mr Extreme! Slowly, everyone in the ring is knocked out and down to the arena floor. Ultimately, only three superstars are left in the ring- Andrew McMartyn, Phil Leach, and Dan Jones! Dan slumps to the canvas as Phil and Andrew square off. Before they can come to blows though, they spin around to see Dan standing before them- swiftly, Dan Jones blasts first Andrew and then Phil in the stomach, bending both other double. Dan grabs both their heads under his arms- DOUBLE Darkness Falls! Jones drills both his rival’s heads into the canvas, knocking them out cold!]

GAV: “Wow! Dan Jones just devastated both his Whiplash opponents in one fell swoop!”

[Andrew McMartyn and Phil Leach lie unconscious on the mat as “Pushing Me Away” begins to play. The solitary figure of the CWF’s “Lone Wolf” stands in the ring, arms raised in victory, as Thursday Night Redemption fades to a close …]
