Cruiserweight action was a part of the NOWF almost from the very beginning, and the best high-flyers did constant battle for the Cruiserweight Championship. There were very few dominant champions in this weight class, but those who made names for themselves definitely include Tigro of the Snipers, Crow from Hidden, and "J-Dawg" Jimmy Fratt. Of course, like cruiserweight divisions in nearly every major promotion for the past decade, once The Undefeatable Chris Jericho took the title, the division was essentially rendered defunct.
