History of the Women's Championship

After months of demand, the PWF created its Women's division in Sept. 2005. Matches between the women of the PWF were held shortly thereafter, and fans were left in shock at the competition they began to witness. Early competitors in the Women's division included Kimona Wanalaya of Team SEC, Pamela Paulshock of the Natural Born Thrillers, and the Rated R girls -- Trish Stratus and Christy Hemme. Whichever woman holds the Women's title can truly claim to be the dominant female of the PWF, as even Eric Bischoff's staff members like Stacy Keibler and Kimberly Page have gotten into the act.
