History of the World Championship

The Supreme Championship Wrestling World Championship was without question one of the most controversial titles in wrestling history. From 1997 to 2000, the SCW captivated audiences with its stellar title matches, many of which ended in disputed finishes. Legendary competitors like Del Wilkes, Mr. Perfect, and James Ace regularly faced off for this coveted belt, but to be known as the SCW World Champion meant you were also known as a target. At any time, you could find yourself backed against the wall, the odds against you, and your allies nowhere to be found. Truly, those who excelled in the SCW were the best of the best for being able to survive such chaos.
