History of the Extreme Championship

The Extreme Championship was generally held by the toughest man in the entire Professional Wrestling Federation. The title, for the most part, was defended once per month, on pay-per-view, in an 8-Man match of some sort. To become and remain the Extreme Champion was one of the most difficult accomplishments in the entire sport. On Feb. 22, 2006, Mr. Bischoff announced the end of the Extreme Championship, citing numerous reasons, but most likely due to an outsider winning it.
