Mr. PerfectMR. PERFECT
PWF Champion
Feb. 15, 2006 - present

As was the case with Shawn Michaels, John Cena inherited a very cluttered PWF Championship scene. At King of the Ring on Jan. 18, not only did Cena win the Federation title, but Chris Jericho was seriously injured and beaten via disqualification by Lance Storm. Mr. Perfect would defeat Storm in the finals of the tournament, but not without the aid of several shortcuts. With Jericho no longer around to take his guaranteed title shot for the Perfect Team, Mr. Perfect quickly announced his intentions of doing so. Storm, however, still claimed to deserve an opportunity to win the gold, and HBK was quick to bring up the rematch clause in his contract. To clear the confusion, Eric Bischoff decided a Fatal Four-Way was in order at Aggression.

Going into Aggression, the PWF Champion had been on a surprising losing streak. That, coupled with the three challengers slated for the bout, led many to believe that Cena's days as Federation Champion were coming to an end. They would not be mistaken. On The Tonight Show with Jay Leno -- less than 24 hours before the match -- Mr. Perfect stated that he would take his "rightful place" at Aggression and win the Federation Championship. He came through on his word. After winning the 2006 King of the Ring Tournament, the 2005 Wrestler of the Year award, and reigning as Intercontinental Champion for over 10 months, Mr. Perfect brought the crown jewel of professional wrestling back to the Perfect Team, winning the sixth World Championship of his career.
