Lance StormTHE CANADIAN SUPERMAN LANCE STORM
PWF Champion
Apr. 6, 2005 - Apr. 27, 2005

An eight-man tournament was Mr. Bischoff's plan to determine the first Federation Champion. The finals at the PWF's debut pay-per-view, No Escape, would put the Canadian Superman Lance Storm against Television Champion Buff "The Stuff" Bagwell. Despite Bagwell's attempt to win a second championship, Storm was able to connect with a Superkick after a missed Blockbuster to finish off his ever-flamboyant opponent in what would prove to be Buff Daddy's final match in the Professional Wrestling Federation ... or so we thought.

A pay-per-view quality matchup was just three short weeks in the future, however, leaving Storm and Team SEC very little time to celebrate. Perfect Team co-founder Excellence would become the No. 1 contender to the PWF Championship, setting the Canadian Superman, a now two-time Heavyweight Champion of the World, on a direct collision course with three-time World Champion Excellence. The match, pitting two of professional wrestling history's very best against one another, would not disappoint.
