Not long after Mr. Perfect's first title win, Stevie Richards turned against his friend Excellence and joined Rated R himself. In so doing, he stole Perfect's SCW World Championship belt, further drawing the ire of the Perfect Team to the point that Perfect himself issued a challenge to Richards for a title match, which was quickly accepted. At the show, though, the SuperStar unveiled a plan of his own, calling for the match to be made into a cage match at the last minute. This ended in disaster as Kerry Nash came out of the crowd, broke into the cage, and Jackknifed Perfect, showing his own new loyalty to Rated R. Richards got the tainted win and the title, thanks to this assist.
