"Witness"
The struggle is over,
The conflict is done.
The victory's mine,
The battle is won.
I know that you'll miss me
And grieve for a while,
But life is too short,
Please soon find your smile.
Stay close to the Lord Jesus,
Keep Him near everyday.
He'll take away fears,
And love you always.
The Lord gave me strength,
To face all my fears.
He gave me courage to fight,
And helped dry my tears.
He shared in my sorrows,
And helped me face each one,
I've suffered so little,
Compared to His son.
He gave me my husband,
I love with all my heart.
He has been so wonderful,
"Till death do us part."
He gave me a son,
Now grown to a man.
He's made me so proud,
Lord, help him understand.
He gave me a daughter,
My very best friend.
She's my sunshine each day,
My rainbow to the end.
He gave me a family
to help share my fears,
a Family,
to help fight the tears.
And now, please stay close
To Lord Jesus,
My dear family and friends.
He'll help give you comfort.
