Hello and here we go with another edition of Sqiggy's corner. I am going to talk about the Up-coming Stampede wrestling tour this weekend here in Alberta. Stampede Wrestling has what I call the new generations of Superstars, with the likes of Dave swift, kirk melnyk, apoclypes, D.Dwight Davis and many others. They also have Lance Storm, Mike Modest and Christopher Daniels on the tours, this should make it one of the best wrestling tours to ever hit Alberta in a long time. I want to wish bruce and the rest of the boys best of luck with tour when they hit Drumheller, Medicine Hat, Calgary and Lethbridge. I attended the WCEW show this past weekend in Calgary, it was one of the most action packed cards I had ever seen. The show was non stop action from the start to finish with Jason Sledgehammer Anderson making his WCEW return. We also got to see the top two contenders get named for the WCEW cruiser weight title in Duke Durrango and Greg Pawluk. The WCEW runs there next show this coming Saturday night in Red Deer, then Calgary June 29 with a falls count anywhere match pitting Maddog McFly vs Butcher Bill Yates for the WCEW heavyweight title.I also want to comment about how there are so many promotions running in Alberta right now with Stampede, WCEW, PWA, Can/Am and CCW all running shows right now. there are two many companies running sure it's good for the fans but it gets confusing because every promotion is using the same talent but with different Names. I think the little promotions like can/am and CCW should just fold, well PWA, Stampede and WCEW should hold one big joint card see which promotion comes out on top. Well this brings us to the end of another column and week so remember the fans are the true stars of wrestling.
