As Secretary General of the Imperial House of Sellassie, I am writing you at this time to request your favorable consideration in one or more of the following matters:1. We are initiating the planning and development of a series of Reggae concerts for the Summer of 2000 to be called Sellassie Y2K, Children of Jah. Our central event, The Children of Jah Concert 2000, is being programmed with a venue in the Soccer Stadium of Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. The objective of these concerts is to raise funds for war relief efforts for both sides in the Ethio-Eritrean Conflict. We would like to invite you to join us in this humanitarian effort. There are many ways that you could make a significant impact on the outcome of this endeavor to assist the victims of what has been a senseless loss of life in the Horn of Africa. The Rasta theme of “One love, One world” can be brought closer to reality with your assistance and participation. 2. We would like to request that you bring our projected series of Reggae concerts, our website and our essay “On Rastafarianism” to the attention of your professional and social associates through forwarding to them this e-mail message and “ by word of mouth.”

We are searching for an experienced entrepreneur to undertake coordination of this humanitarian project and will consider the highest qualifications and the highest bid in terms of a percent of income after reasonable profit to be generated for our war relief efforts. More specifically, after costs of production and reasonable profit, what bid will generate the highest percent of income for the cause. This is obviously an opportunity to extend your own reputation world-wide, to realize a significant profit, and to help many thousands of our desperate brothers and sisters in Ethiopia and Eritrea.
