Run Against Hunger 2003

Help Support the Bread and Life Running Team in the Run Against Hunger

For the past 6 years, members of the Bread and Life Staff, Board of Directors and various supporters  have run in the NYC Marathon to raise money for the soup kitchen. There are many ways that you can help the Run Against Hunger Team.

Support Fr. Jim Maher, CM

It's already to late to run in the NYC Marathon, but you can still support the team by sponsoring Fr. Jim Maher. Fr. Jim, who is also the President of our Board of Directors, and the Vice President of Campus Ministry at St. John's University, has run in the NYC Marathon for the last 6 years, as part of the Bread and Life Run Against Hunger Team. You can send a donation in support of Fr. Jim. A typical donation would be $1 for each mile he completes, or any amount affordable.

Spread the Word

If you know of someone that will be running in the NYC Marathon, ask him or her to join the Bread and Life Run Against Hunger team.

If you would like more information about Run Against Hunger, please contact Al Diefenbach at 718-574-0058, x 20 or email him at aldiefenbach@breadandlife.org
