GALLERY OF STAMPING STYLES, 2005

The January and February 2005 styles both used the classic three liner in red on the front and the classic three liner in blue in the back. This would be the last time that bills were issued without a special message in the back margins.

The March 2005 style was the first that used a back margin message. This was inspired by my getting a bill from NapaMac. The front had the classic three liner in red, but the back margins were stamped with "JOURNEY TO THE STARS!" and "ROCK AND ROLL GUITARS!" in orange. There was also a classic three liner in blue on the back.

The April 2005 style used the red classic three liner on the front and the back, with "JOURNEY TO THE STARS!" and "ROCK AND ROLL GUITARS!" in black as a back margin message.

The May 2005 style used the red classic three liner on the front and the purple classic three liner on the back, with "JOURNEY TO THE STARS!" and "ROCK AND ROLL GUITARS!" in black as a back margin message.

The June 2005 style used the blue classic three liner on the front and the red classic three liner on the back, with "LIVE LONG AND PROSPER" in blue as a back margin message.

The July 2005 style used the blue classic three liner on the front and the purple classic three liner on the back. "JOURNEY TO THE STARS!" and "ROCK AND ROLL GUITARS!" was used as a back margin message in orange.

The August 2005 style made use of the purple classic three liner on the front as well as on the back. "LIVE LONG AND PROSPER" in blue ink was used as a back margin message.

The September 2005 style featured the red classic three liner on the front. On the back the purple classic three liner was used. "LIVE LONG AND PROSPER" appeared in brown ink.

The October 2005 style used the purple classic three liner on the front, and the classic three liner in red on the back. This was the last month that "LIVE LONG AND PROSPER" appeared in the smaller font.

The November 2005 style is one of my favorites. It featured the classic three liner in blue on the front, and the classic three liner in purple in the back. For the first time, I used "BEAM ME UP SCOTTY!" on the back margin. Can you tell that I'm a Star Trek fan?

This style was used in December 2005. It featured the classic three liner in red on the front, and the classic three liner in blue in the back. In the back margin, is the "HELP ME, SPOCK!" in blue. Several of these were traded to Georgers at the San Jose mini-gathering on 12/21/05. This inspired swazieb of Los Banos to use "THE TRUTH IS OUT THERE" as a back margin message on his bills.
