GALLERY OF STAMPING STYLES, 2008



The January 2008 bills kicked off the New Year with the classic three liner on the front. The back featured the URL in blue on the top margin and the "PLEASE REPORT SIGHTINGS" in purple in the bottom margin. Twenty of these bills were entered and released in Scottsdale for the Arizona Rock and Roll Marathon WG Gathering at Grimaldi's on 1/12.





The bills for February 2008 bills used Dave Anderson in blue on the front, with the "Currency Tracking Project". The aftermarket three-liner in red is on the back, along with the back margin message of "HAVE YOU SEEN JUNIOR'S GRADES?" in blue.





For the first time in March 2008, the blue Stamp Connection classic was used on the front. On the back, we had the aftermarket three-liner, along with "JOURNEY TO THE STARS! ROCK AND ROLL GUITARS!" in green.





In keeping with tradition for the April bills, the April 2008 bills honored the Canadian rock band April Wine on the front in a customized Dave Anderson stamp, in blue. The back had the URL in the upper back margin in green, along with "BABY DONT GOT SOME SOUL!" in purple.





In May 2008, the Canadian rock group Bachman-Turner Overdrive was honored as that their first album was released on 5/1/73. The front featured the Dave Anderson stamp with the BTO logo in blue. On the back, the classic three-liner appeared, also in blue. For the first time, we acknowledged the BTO song "LET IT RIDE" in red.





The Dave Anderson stamp with the BTO logo continued in June 2008. The back featured a smaller URL stamp for the first time, in "timber brown", in the top margin. The bottom margin had "CURRENCY TRACKING PROJECT" in red.





July 2008 used the Dave Anderson stamp in red, with "PLEASE REPORT SIGHTINGS". The URL, also in red, appeared in the top back margin. "BABY DONE GOT SOME SOUL", in purple, was used in the bottom margin on the back.





August 2008 saw the first use of a new Dave Anderson font around the Treasury Seal. This was in red with "CURRENCY TRACKING PROJECT". On the back the classic three liner returned in purple, with "JOURNEY TO THE STARS! ROCK AND ROLL GUITARS!" in "timber brown".





September 2008 continued the use of a new Dave Anderson font around the Treasury Seal, but in purple. The back had the URL in black on the top, and "BEAM ME UP SCOTTY!" in red.





The classic Dave Anderson stamp returned on the front for October 2008 . The classic thee-liner in red also returned on the back. In the top margin, "TAKIN' CARE OF BUSINESS" is in azure blue.





The new Dave Anderson stamp used two months ago was back on the front for November 2008 . The classic thee-liner in red remained on the back. In the top margin, "LIVE LONG AND PROSPER" was stamped in azure blue.





For December, the Christmas colors of red and green was used. The classic three-liner was on the front in red. The aftermarket three liner was also in red, on the back. In green we had the back margin messages of "PLEASE REPORT SIGHTINGS" and "BABY DONE GOT SOME SOUL!"
