GALLERY OF STAMPING STYLES, 2006

Here is a scan of a two dollar bill that shows the stamping style for January 2006. This came back to me in a bank strap (as do a lot of my $2 bills). This features the Classic 3 liner in blue on front and the Classic 3 liner purple on the back....along with a back margin message that gets a lot of reaction in the user notes from those who find these!

This two dollar bill shows the stamping style for February 2006. It's the first time using the Dave Anderson stamp on the front, with my own requested message. On the back, the "PLEASE REPORT SIGHTINGS" is thought to help increase the hit rate. The "BABY DONE GOT SOME SOUL!" is the title of an April Wine song that was recorded in 1975. Not many people have commented on this one.

This two dollar bill shows the stamping style for March 2006. The Classic 3 Liner is on the front, and my "aftermarket" 3 liner is on the back.

This style was used for April 2006. It features the logo for the Canadian rock group April Wine, another one of my favorite bands. The message in the back margin is a line from one of their more well-known songs.

This style was used for May 2006. It features the gear logo of the 1970s Canadian rock group Bachman-Turner Overdrive.

This style was used for June 2006. It contains a reference to a Van Halen song.

For July 2006, I used this scheme. I think this is one of the more amusing back margin messages I have used.

For August 2006, I used this scheme. The front is a new Dave Anderson stamp, and on the back I resumed using one the "Star Trek" themed messages.

In September 2006, I used a custom Dave Anderson stamp with the BTO logo on the front in purple. The back continued with the red 3 liner classic, with a return to the "BEAM ME UP SCOTTY" which was last used in November 2005.

For October 2006, the custom Dave Anderson stamp with the April Wine logo on the front returned, in purple. The back continues with the red 3 liner classic. In the back margins are the ever-familiar April Wine lyrics from one of the best songs ever recorded.

The November 2006 stamping styles used the Dave Anderson stamp on the front with the BTO logo, in purple. On the back the classic three-liner in purple returns, with "LIVE LONG AND PROSPER" in blue.

The classic three liner in blue returned for December 2006. On the back, just two edge margin stamps were used for the first time. The top margin had the WG URL in red and the bottom had "BABY DONE GOT SOME SOUL!" in green.
