A little rainy, but no snow, not as cold as yesterday.
Quite a good day actually. I wrote a Christmas card before I took my nap. After I left my apartment this morning I went to the post office and mailed 6 cards. Yay me. I'm up to 9 sent off now.
Work was a bit slow today. My kids class cancelled, it was sad. I look forward to our classes.
And, in the really sad department, we cancelled our Christmas party. Only 3 students signed up for it, and we told the hotel that we'd have at least 20 people there. I'm really sad about the whole thing. The Christmas party is one of the few events that we have where I get to dress up, look a bit glam and have fun. Many students wanted to have a drinking party instead, but that isn't my idea of Christmas. We will probably have some kind of party for those students that want to come on Sunday, but I won't be wearing my new dress or cape that I bought especially for the party. Sigh.
After work tonight, Fumihiko picked me up at the apartment and we went to Gusto for dinner. It was quite good. I had a big hamburger with a fried egg on top and for dessert I had fresh strawberries with cream. Yum. It was so good. I also had drink bar....I had two herb teas and one cup of coffee. Sigh.
Fumihiko and I came home and talked a bit about our trip. It should be exciting, but we haven't got our tickets paid for yet, so I don't want to talk about it. We have seats on the plane already, but we don't have a hotel yet. I hope that we can get a good one!
Anyway, I'd better go. I hope tomorrow is better. Poor Fumihiko is a bit under the weather and I'm feeling like I might be getting something, so we aren't doing that well! And, we still haven't started the darn nengajo! Good night!
