December 19, 2004 - Sunday

Clear and gorgeous. Not too cold.

A pretty good day. I slept in very late. It was around 11:30 when I got up. Fumihiko had been up for an hour or so before I got up. I felt so much better though when I got up. I really was tired last night.

We went out and had lunch at Aliente, a yakiniku restaurant. It was quite nice. I had a mixture of meats and Fumihiko had just beef. We left a bit later, quite stuffed.

We drove to the mall and went to see The Terminal. It was really good. I enjoyed it very much. I'm starting to really like Tom Hanks as an actor. He has a certain "je ne sais quois" about him. Always believable.

After the movie we had a cup of coffee at Seattle's Best Coffee and miracle of miracles, they had decaff coffee today. Yay. I had a cup and it was so good. I really enjoyed it. Fumihiko had hot chocolate and as usual found it too sweet.

He did a bit of shopping in the book store and I did some in Jusco. I got myself more bead kits for the tree. Call me crazy, but they were 30 per cent off and I'm sure no one else would buy them. While I was in that department, I saw some decorations that were on their tree. They'd made the same kit as I had, but they'd hung their icicles upside-down and had bent the tip over so that it could hook over the branch. It looked dumb! Mine look so much better! REALLY!

We went out for dinner to Bistro Des Points, our French restaurant in Mikawa. It was great tonight. We had steak, veggie soup, salad and sashimi. Everything was delicious.

We hit the grocery store on the way home. Now we're going to enjoy some of the stuff that we bought at the grocery store. Sorry, I gotta go. Strawberries and whipped cream await me. Night night!
