December 20, 2004 - Monday

Rainy all day. And...snow is forecast.

An okay and sort of productive day. This morning I slept in again. I made sure that Fumihiko had taken the garbage out with him, then went back to sleep. It was just before 11 when I woke up. Well, actually, the phone rang at 9:30 but I didn't answer it! Ha ha.

I did a bit of cleaning and my laundry. Then, I made my lunch and started to do my stamping. I stamped Fumihiko's nengajo for him today. I made 20 postcards for the year of the chicken. They actually look really good. I have to put some finishing touches on them though. They need more glitter, but I think it's better to do them after he writes them out.

Fumihiko and I exchanged c-mail on our phone today. I finally figured it out. It isn't email, I'm not sure just how to do the email yet, but c-mail is easy. I found out that the first one I sent him arrived when he was in a meeting. Oops!

He phoned me during the day too to tell me that the travel agent has managed to get us both a hotel and a flight to Hong Kong. Wa hoo! So, we're going to abroad just after Christmas.

Fumihiko got home around 5:30 and we went out for supper. We went to Dan and had a great meal. We had, in no particular order, asparagus and bacon, eggplant in garlic sauce, oyster nabe, caesar salad, rotisserie chicken, steak and an avocado-shrimp salad. Everything was delicious.

I wanted to go to Chambre, the new interior shop, so we did. However, once again, we arrived about 10 minutes before they closed. Sigh. We left without buying anything. I like the store, but I want to spend more time searching it.

We came home and I finished up Fumihiko's cards. He gave me a hand this time, he did some of the colouring, which was really helpful. It slows me down when I have to do that too.

I finished up for tonight and tried to start one of my new kits for tree decorations, but it's really hard. I did part of it and left the rest for the morning! (Early afternoon?)

Anyway, that was my day. It was pretty good and I enjoyed it. Bring on tomorrow!

Night night.
