Too much snow! I want to go somewhere warm and snowfree.
A pretty good day, despite the snow. I got up this morning to a cold house. My hubby had forgotten to turn on the heater this morning so it was really cold. I knew that with the snow I'd take extra time walking to work so I left early. It wasn't a great walk. In places the snow was up to my knees, and I fell once outside the university. I wasn't hurt though.
I did get to work on time, opened up and got ready for work. I had a pretty good day. All of my students that I was expecting showed up. One didn't, but I wasn't really expecting her too. I was hoping she would.
At lunch I went out and picked up some vitamins at Jusco. Just before I got to the sales clerk, I checked my wallet. It was empty! I'd taken my last bit of money out last night. Yikes. I put down the bottles, said, "After" to the clerk and went to the bank machine. I freaked out a bit when my card was refused the first time, but I think I may have put in my number wrong. It was fine the second time. I bought my groceries and then went back to the register. This time I could pay for my tablets.
I had a quiet evening at the school. I took down some pictures and made preparations for another display but I'm not quite sure what to put up yet. I thought about Canadian animals, or maybe warm places that people go to get away from the snow. I haven't decided yet.
Fumihiko picked me up after work and took me to a convenience store to send a friend some magazines. Then we went to Cocos for dinner. It was fine.
I feel really sorry for Fumihiko tonight because he can hardly move. He had to shovel snow at work and push cars and of course put his back out. I even got out my hot water bottle and gave it too him. He's sitting on the couch on it right now. He says it's helping. The way I think, it can't do any harm right?
And that was my day. Tomorrow I've got a few things to do at work, so I'm sort of looking forward to it.
Talk to you tomorrow, night-night.
