Snowy. What else?
A good day. I woke up late today, and it was lovely. I didn't have to work but Fumihiko did, so I had the house to myself. Hurray. I slept in for a while, then got up and did laundry. I even took a shower and cleaned the bath. Usually Fumihiko does that but he wasn't feeling well last night.
I cooked a late lunch and then watched a movie while I knitted. The movie? Warlock. Okay, I know it's old, and it's weird and it supposedly made somebody do something horrid, but you know what? It's got Richard E. Grant in it, and that's reason enough to watch it. Also, I don't believe that movies or songs really have the power to "make" someone do something evil.
Just after the movie finished Fumihiko came home. He took a shower and a little while later we went out for dinner.
I suggested going to Dan, and then to karaoke after that. So, that's what we did. When we got there, the parking lot was crowded, but Fumihiko found a place. Dan's food was really good tonight. We had eggplant, kimchi tofu nabe, rotisserie chicken, kimchi pork stir fry and a couple of other dishes.
After dinner we walked over to the karaoke box. We were lucky and got a room right away. We sang a lot of stuff. I did some songs for the very first time which was kind of cool. Some of them I liked, some of them I didn't. I did one, Grandfather's Clock, that I've never heard before in English, but is very popular in Japanese. A good (no, really!) Japanese singer, Ken Hirae sings it in nihongo. In English it's much faster. I was surprised actually. Fumihiko said the words were very similar. It was after 1:30am when we left there.
We came home and now Fumihiko is eating ramen. I don't understand how he can eat so much of that stuff! He was trying to convince me that it's healthy, but I'm having none of it.
Anyway, that was my day. Tomorrow, I don't have any plans, but I do have to go to the post office and mail a package to Canada, plus a birthday card.
Got to go, night night!
