Cool and snowy, what else?

Today was an interesting day! I got to sleep in which was lovely. When I finally got up we went out for lunch. We went to the Daiichi Hotel. It was okay. After that we wandered around the mall. I headed into the DVD/CD shop. I was looking for the double set of Before Sunrise/Before Sunset. I didn't find it, but looking in a book for more information discovered something else....STRICTLY BALLROOM WILL BE RELEASED ON DVD IN MARCH!!! Yes, I am shouting. It's one of my favourite movies, silly though it may be. Paul Mercurio is such a dreamboat. I can't wait. Yay! In fact, I got Fumihiko to pre-order a copy of it for me. Here in Japan it has another name, Dancing Hero, but I know the truth!

We came home after that and started to set up my new printer. I've heard a lot of horror stories about people who have terrible difficulty with printers, but honestly, it was remarkably easy! I printed a few things, just to see how it went. I printed the main picture from this blog onto regular paper, and it looked quite good.

After we got it working I asked if we could go out and buy some new paper for my printer. We went to one of those electronic stores and I got a bunch of things. I got some labels for cds, some photo printing paper and some postcards.

We went for dinner to Cafe Frambois. We haven't gone there for ages. We both had steak, with pumpkin soup, salad and coffee. Fumihiko ate rice and my bread, plus dessert. It was okay.

After we went by the book store. I bought myself a copy of Rich Dad, Poor Dad. Maybe I'll figure out how to become rich. I wish. I saw a new Jostein Gaarder book in Japanese and asked Fumihiko to find out if they had any others of his books. I've tried to get one for him for ages. He ended up ordering The Solitare Mystery in Japanese. I looked at the DVDs there too, but didn't see anything I wanted.

We went to the grocery store, then came home again. We had bought some yakitori at the supermarket and ate it. I was drinking some lovely mint tea when it happened. My tooth broke. It has been hurting for months and I talked to Fumihiko about it today. I was wondering if I could wait and have it done in Canada, or if I'd have to have it done here. Well, I guess I'll have to have it done here. Sigh. Anyone know a good dentist that speaks English?

And that was my day. It was okay, but now my tooth is broken and I've got a touch of indigestion I think. Yuck. Maybe too many carbs? Could be.

Anyway, I'll be off to work tomorrow. Probably walking cause we've had so much snow! Bleck.

Night night.
