Cloudy, then clearing. Not rainy. Yay!
A pretty good day. I got up and wasn't running as late as usual. The bad thing that happened was when I went to get my bike. There was a problem with the seat. A bird had left its calling card on my seat. I was not impressed! I had to use a cloth handkerchief to clean it off.
I got to work and opened up the joint. I did some prep this morning and then after my first class I did something quite radical for me. I washed dishes. One of the former managers, I honestly can't remember which one, washed them, but left them by the sink. They were still there a year or more later. They'd been there so long that they were dirty again! Anyway, I washed and dried them, and put them away. I don't know why I didn't do it before. Oh, maybe I do, it wasn't my job, and none of the dishes were mine!
I had one lesson cancel today. It's a pain because I have to plan a new lesson each week and that means that I make cards but don't get to use them.
After my last class, I finished up quickly and then went to the grocery store. There wasn't much that I wanted for dinner, so I settled on salad, sausages, yogurt and blueberries. I brought them home.
At home I boiled the sausages, washed the blueberries, and then made some coffee. I ate while listening to the English news, and reading Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. I love Roald Dahl!
Fumihiko came home a bit after 11 and we chatted a little bit. He's gone off to bed now. He's not in as bad of shape as he was last weekend!
And that was my day. It was pretty good. I enjoyed it, and got some things accomplished, so that makes me feel happy.
