Cold day, occasional snow falls, but nothing staying on the ground.
An okay day with strange start. I got up a few minutes late this morning and went for a walk. I went for only 20 minutes, because it was cold and windy. When I came in, I checked my email and then I took a nap. Two minutes before my alarm went off, the kerosene heater's alarm went off to tell me that it was empty. I had to go and fill it up. Of course, when I finished, my wake-up alarm was going off. I turned it off, reset it and tried to nap, but it wasn't to be. Sigh.
I did my usual morning stuff and left for work. I got there in lots of time, but it was quite cold riding today. I had a quiet morning, but then a busy day. I taught 5 classes today, and 2 of my students were new. That was interesting. We have new textbooks in some classes and they'll take a bit of getting used to for me, and the students.
After work I finished up, did a bit of paperwork, and then c-mailed my hubby. He came and picked me up and took me to dinner. Yay. We went to M's Dining and tonight I had chicken and steak. I was getting a little tired of hamburger to be honest. It seems like most of the restaurants that are open late here serve hamburgers.
We came home and did a bit of talking while I worked on my computer. I'm charging up my iPod in anticipation of tomorrow's walk. I just need to find a good route. There aren't a lot of sidewalks near here, so I don't always feel safe when I go out for a walk. The streets in Tsuruoka are very narrow, and cars seem to drive very fast.
And that was my day. It was okay! I hope I can get in gear much faster tomorrow though. Gotta go! Night.
