Cloudy with a bit of rain.
An okay day today. As I suspected, having gone to bed at 5 am I wasn't able to wake up before 9:00 am! I did however rouse myself before 11 so that was a good thing! Fumihiko had a very bad back night and didn't fall asleep at all. I finally got him talked into going to the doctor. While he was gone I did get up, take a shower and even checked email.
We went out soon after he came back. We drove to Sakata and had lunch at the Hotel Rich. They had a French Buffet, so we had escargot, quiche and chicken. It was good.
After lunch we drove to the Immigration Office and handed in the extra papers that they needed.
We went to Mikawa and checked out some of the new shops. I bought even more Christmas Tree ornaments! We went to the new bookstore and I was thrilled to discover that they actually have English books. Quite a lot too! Yahoo! I was thrilled. Really!
We went to the mall then. We had some coffee and then booked our little trip for next week. Hurray! We're going somewhere in Japan for a change. Not telling yet!
After that we came home and Fumihiko and I watched his dvd of Million Dollar Baby. It was great. We really enjoyed it.
We went for dinner to a restaurant that his co-worker's parents run. It's a fish restaurant. Last time we went we had a great meal, but tonight it wasn't so great. And, Fumihiko kept tutting me. I thought he was angry at me so I kept quiet.
When we went the the grocery store he tutted me again. I asked him what was wrong. He told me there was nothing wrong, so I asked him why he made the tutting noise. I found out that he had something stuck in his teeth and he was trying to get it out! All evening I thought he was angry with me and he thought I was angry with him, but we weren't! Crazy huh?
We came home then, watched a bit of the special features on Million Dollar Baby, then I watched ER and printed out my Christmas Newsletter. Yes, I'm sorry to say, I'm resorting to a Christmas Newsletter this year.
And that was my day, pretty much anyway. It was okay, not spectacular, not terrible.
