Snowy and very cold.
An okay day. I woke up early for me today, got up, checked email, and then went back to bed for a while. I really didn't feel that well, so thought I should for medicinal purposes! Well, that's my excuse anyway.
When I got up I didn't do very much honestly. I did some computer stuff, ate a late brunch (including some of my lovely soup) and then did dishes. I added some curry powder to my soup, which really improved it a lot.
After I did the dishes I did some cleaning of the sink. I had to replace the thingy in the drain...there's a ring that dispenses bleach I think to stop the trap from smelling and getting too clogged. It had just about finished. Then, I cleaned my rubber mat too. I also threw out my roses. Sigh. It's too bad that I had to, but they were past it.
When Fumihiko came home we had a couple of bowls of soup each and then went out for supper. I was a bit surprised that he was still hungry, but he was! We went to Jiro, but I didn't have my usual, I had chicken instead. I wanted something a little lighter as I wasn't that hungry anymore.
After dinner we went to karaoke. Hurray. It was fun. We didn't go for a huge marathon session, it was just over 2 hours. I tried to sing "not my usual" songs. I did a new one for me, Franz Ferdinand's "Do You Want to", Johnny Hortons, "The Battle of 1814(?)" and even Johnny Cash's "Ring of Fire". Fumihiko did his usual ones though! We ended the karaoke experience with Ozone's "Dragostea Din Tea" which we've been practicing. I think it helped!
We came home via the grocery store. At home, we watched a little of the Olympics, enough to see Jennifer Heil (Weil?) win gold. Yay her! Yay Canada! I didn't get to hear "O, Canada" though. Sigh.
And that was that. My day. It wasn't too bad actually. Talk to you tomorrow? Night.
