Rainy. I didn't go out though.
Today was a long day! I didn't go out because I wasn't feeling well. My sore throat last night has become an achy, nose-running thing. I stayed in bed very late and spent a lot of time couch potatoing. The good thing is that I finally got stuck into another book. I'm in the midst of Jonathan Strange & Mr. Morrell. It's fascinating. It's about magic in the Napoleonic times.
I watched a little of the Olympics today, but not a lot. Curling is on right now. Can't say I'm too interested..I know..it's almost un-Canadian to say that, but I'm not.
Anyway, that's it for me for tonight. Sorry it's so short and boring! Night.
PS...Oh yeah, it's Valentine's Day isn't it? Well, last night I gave Fumihiko what I told him was his "Giri-choco"...a Wonka bar of chocolate. As we'd just watched the movie again, I thought it was a fun thing. Today I wrapped up his Honkei Choco...he got some nice truffley things and some Ferraro Rocher. I'm so nice! And he got a card too. (Giri-choco is obligation chocolate, stuff you give here because you have to. It's for male co-workers or bosses. Honkei Chocolate is stuff you give to people you want to, because you like them!)
I spent most of the day alone because hubby had to work and then he had a Sports Association Party after work. I saw him for about 10 minutes during the day! He got home around 11:00 pm tonight.
