January 4, 2006 - Wednesday

Snowy, but not too cold.

It's late so I'll be brief.

I did a mound of laundry today. I'm sure it was about 5 loads. Egads!

Fumihiko went to work and I stayed at home. I did some work on my homepage. I worked on updating my book pages for 2006. I have to do a few things to them now, but basically they are done.

In the evening we went to the Washington Hotel for dinner. We both had steak, which was rather good. After dinner we went over to Mr. Donuts and had some cafe au lait. They have free refills so we had 3 cups each.

Fumihiko had to return his work keys, so we drove up the mountain to his workplace. The drive there was awful. The wind was blowing the snow everywhere and we couldn't see the road very well.

We came home and watched Pride and Prejudice. The whole thing. All 6 hours! Fumihiko enjoyed it and of course I was in total bliss! Colin Firth is such a babe. (Do I sound like Bridget Jones?)

It's now 4 am, and I'm about ready for bed. I planned to go to bed earlier, but I didn't quite make it.

And that was my day. It was pretty great for a change! Gotta go! Night night.
