Snowy and cloudy.
An okay day. I had my usual kind of day, except in the morning I prepared some chicken for cooking. I usually make it tandori style, but today I used my teriyaki sauce for marinading it.
I didn't go out during the day. I did watch Charmed and then later on I put on a Friends DVD. That was funny.
Fumihiko came home earlier tonight, announced that he was hungry and then went to bed. I was rather upset as I hadn't spoken to anyone all day, and I hoped that he'd talk to me. I also had planned to go to the grocery store before we ate, but couldn't. I cooked the chicken, some frozen veggies and then we ate. Despite the chicken being in the freezer for more than 3 months it was pretty good.
After dinner, Fumihiko did the dishes and then we went to the grocery store. Hurray. I think I'm making dinner tomorrow night too. Not sure if I'm happy about that or not, but it's cheaper so maybe I am!
We aren't doing much tonight. Fumihiko put on a Louis Armstrong cd and it's very mellow. Actually quite nice. I need to chill out more. I'm a bit stressed with all of this out of work stuff.
Over the last two days I've received huge bills from my city. The hugest one is for the pension fund. I have to pay for the last 2 years worth of pensions. I really don't want to as I doubt I'll ever get a pension from Japan, but if I want to get health insurance I am told that I have to. The other bill is for residence tax. It's manageble, and I knew that I'd have to pay it. However, I'm not a happy camper right now.
Anyway, that's it for me. It's quite early but I might even go to bed soon. I'm quite cold. If I turn on my hot blanket soon it might be a bit warmer in bed.
