Cloudy and rainy.
Today was an okay day. I overslept as usual, but when I got up I was busy to make up for it. I did three loads of laundry, then prepared the chicken for the evening. It's not my favourite part of the job, but it wasn't that bad today as I used chicken breasts.
In the afternoon I had my delayed brunch, did some computer stuff and then went off to the school.
I was quite busy at the school too. I vacuumed and did a bit of cleaning, then I prepared the lesson for Thursday's class. When my student came, we had a good class. I changed after the lesson, then came home.
It was raining a little bit as I left the school, but I decided to go home anyway. I got about 2/3 of the way home and it turned into a downpour. Sigh. I got quite wet. When I put my bike away and tried to come in the apartment, I couldn't.Someone had put the bar across! I had to ring the bell to get in.
Fumihiko wasn't very well. I think that's why he'd barred the door. He just didn't think I was out at the time. He was lying down on the bed, and was trying to sleep. I asked if he still wanted me to make dinner but he said no. I decided that I had to make it for me, as I don't know what I'll do tomorrow and I didn't want to leave the uncooked chicken in the fridge. I made him some soup, my favourite, Campbell's Cream of Mushroom soup while I grilled the chicken. Fumihiko ate the soup and then went back to bed to read. He's still got a terrible cough. It doesn't seem to be easing at all.
I had a lovely dinner of tandori chicken and salad, plus a bit of soup. I drank some caffeine free chai too. It was nice, but a bit lonely. I missed my guy.
After I did the dishes I spent the rest of the night on my computer. I'm now listening to internet radio and eating popcorn! I'll probably go to bed soon as I am a bit tired and in need of a good night's sleep!
