Cloudy, but no rain.
Well, surprisingly, I got up early again! Today I watched Rawhide because the news was taken off for baseball. Egads, I hate baseball. Bunch of grown-up men playing rounders.
I watched another Friends dvd today. Today was Ross and Emily's wedding. I love that episode, especially when Chandler and Monica get together and then are really embarrassed about it!
I stayed around the house for a long time, but then I went out a bit after 4. I went off to the mall to have my cappuchino! I also bought some coloured copy paper, glue and envelopes.Yay me. The cappuchino was great. I read part of my new Reader's Digest and just relaxed. I biked home and got there just before hubby.
I was getting together an envelope and some things to send to my friends. I bought some Japanese cloth for a friend of mine in Canada and I wanted to send it to her. I got some thing else wrapped up and ready to send off too.
Tonight we both were computer monsters! Fumihiko couldn't get his computer to work again, so he gave up trying.Then we went out for dinner to M's Dining. We had a nice meal, and actually talked to each other for part of the meal. That sounds weird I know (if you're not married to a Japanese Guy) but they don't talk during meals, at least my one doesn't. Having a conversation during a meal interferes with how fast he can shovel food in his mouth, so he rarely talks to me. As I spend most of my time either at home alone or with students under 10, I'm in dire need of adult conversation!
We came home and spent the next couple of hours playing games on our respective computers. Fumihiko has a few games loaded, so he's okay for games and such. Apparently my hubby has the morning off tomorrow, but he's planning to see a doctor about his cough. It's a bit better, but not that much really. I'm thinking that I should go to doctor too as my left ankle is really sore when I walk. It's not all the time, but sometimes it feels dislocated or something. Ohh. I'm getting old and creaky. I hate that!
Anyway, that was my day. It was nice. I especially like the fact that I got out of the apartment under my own steam today. Even if it was just the mall, better that than staying home. Tomorrow, who knows. I have an evening class. Wish me luck.
