Muggy but not rainy.
Apologies for the lack of update yesterday. I went out of town and wasn't able to post! Yesterday was a good day. I ran into an ex-student that I hadn't seen in months and hopefully she'll give me a call soon.
Today we started by having lunch at Naranda, the Indian restaurant in Sakata. It was okay. My favourite thing about it was the Spicy Milk Tea I had. That was good.
We came home after lunch supposedly to work on some business mail, but when we got home, Fumihiko got all huffy again and stormed out. He came back hours later, and wouldn't talk to me.
I left at that point to have my dinner. I assumed (wrongly as it turned out) that he'd already eaten. I went to Gusto and then biked over to the school where I finished my book. Yay me.
I got a couple of weird messages from my husband, so after I finished the novel ( Predator) I biked home. He wasn't in much of a better temper quite honestly. I think he was still angry at me. We didn't make up, and he went out to get something to eat. He came home soon after and made himself some ramen. He's now in bed.
You know, a lot of the time I'm not sure why I'm still in Japan. I don't like so much about Japan and the Japanese way of life. I don't like that I'm not supposed to have an opinion about anything. That I'll never be accepted as a person. I'll always be a "Gaijin". There are good points about Japan of course, but more and more the bad is outweighing the good. I'm getting really frustrated, and that isn't a good thing.
Anyway, ranting about it on the internet doesn't really help. It makes me feel better for a day or two, but things will probably build up again.
Gotta go! Night night.
PS Check out my Flickr account for more pictures of my school.
