Cloudy and then rainy all evening.
A quiet day really. I spent almost all of today at home. I was on my computer for ages. I was planning to go out around 3, but it started to rain very hard then, so I didn't. Oh well.
Around 5 I got an email from Fumihiko saying he'd be late again. He said he's be home around 8. Around 6 I closed up my computer and then started to read one of my books. Tonight's book? Ptolemy's Gate. The one that I'd been looking for all over Japan! I'm about half way through now. It's great. Very exciting. It's the third novel in The Bartimaeus Trilogy. I recommend it to people who like books about magic.
I read and napped for a while. Around 10 pm, I still didn't have a husband, so I ate some of my soup. After I did dishes I heard the door and he was here. Hubby arrived just before eleven. Poor thing. He changed his clothes and then we went out for dinner to Gusto.
We had an okay meal and then came home. We watched a bit of I Love Lucy, which tonight I found very funny, and then The Scarlet Pimpernel came on the telly. I LOVE the Scarlet Pimpernel stories. I read a bunch of them as a kid. Richard E. Grant is Sir Percy. He's very good, he's believeable as both a foppish English Lord and an intelligent Secret Agent. Of course, he isn't really a Secret Agent, but he acts like one.
Oh, and in other news, The Edmonton Oilers won their last game. It sounds like it was a very exciting game. It went into overtime. The Oilers are still behind in the series, but they aren't out yet!
