Rainy then clearing.
An okay day. I didn't get up early, but then again, I didn't go to bed early. Poor me.
In the morning I filled up the kerosene tank in our heater, and checked email and stuff. I was very sleepy and it took me ages before I was ready to take my shower. I finally did and then spent more time on my computer.
Later I did some wrapping of presents while I watched Friends. That was fun. I'm up to right before Chandler and Monica's wedding. After a couple of episodes I switched to Frasier. That was a nice change too. I really enjoy both shows.
After I wrapped some presents I cooked brunch. I had a really nice omelette today. It was just the regular one, but it was good.
A bit after 5 I left for my school. On the way there I twisted my knee or something and pedaling was really painful. I don't know what happened. At the school I did a touch of cleaning and then prepared a lesson. When my student came we had quite a good lesson. After we talked about some movies. I'd recommended "Christy" to her, and she bought the video. It's in Japanese unfortunately. I've also loaned her some of my Friends dvds, and she likes them too.
After my class I biked home, preparing myself to cook dinner. When I came home, a couple of things annoyed me. The other bike owners have parked their bikes so that it's really hard to get to my space. Then, when I tried to come in the apartment I found it locked and barred. That was annoying. Still, Fumihiko came and let me in. When I came in I found that the apartment smelled a little funny. I was surprised because Fumihiko was cooking. The problem was that he wasn't cooking the food we bought for today, he'd gone and got new food. I had already marinated some meat for tonight. He'd forgotten that I was cooking tonight, he was cooking tomorrow. Oh well. I wasn't too happy at first, but then I thought about all the women I know who would be incredibly jealous of my cooking guy! And, the food was pretty good. He'd made garlic pork, boiled daikon and miso soup. It was all really nice. He even did the dishes afterwards.
Later on we had some formerly frozen raspberries as a late night snack. They were very good. I called my sister to wish her a happy birthday, and then watched Bewitched. That was sweet in an old-fashioned way! I'm now sort of watching Chaplin's The Great Dictator. It's good but not my kind of thing really.
Anyway, that was my day. I'll catch you later! Night.
