Sunny and no rain. Yeah.
Today was okay. I actually woke up before my alarm this morning. That was a bonus! I got up, and did the vegging on the couch thing until the news was over. The rest of the morning I spent on my computer before I left for work.
I had three classes today and they went fairly well. After the first one, I planned her next lesson and then headed off for Gusto for a late lunch. My last two classes were fine.
After the last class I sent Fumihiko a text message to see if he was home. He was, so I asked if he'd gone to the grocery store. He hadn't, so I said I would. I cycled there and bought a few things. Then, I came home.
When I came home, I'm happy to say the door wasn't barred, but I just got a bad feeling. I'm not sure what it was. Tonight I did some cooking, and so did Fumihiko. He cooked the daikon, and some fish that he'd bought last night. I cooked my coro-coro steak and made tea. I got a bit upset at how slow someone was, so I just gave up and sat down to eat. I felt a lot better after that. Fumihiko and I have very different styles of doing things. I don't know how to cook Japanese food, so I try to stay out of his way when he does it.
After dinner I washed the dished and he watched Racing Stripes on tv. It was quite funny in a bizarre way. There was a character who always quoted famous movie lines and it really cracked me up. The movie itself was simplistic, but the voices of the animals were done by surprisingly good actors.
And that's about it. Fumihiko just took his bath a bit ago and now he's vegging on the couch and watching soccer. Yawn. I'm not a big fan of soccer in Japan.
Tomorrow we have a party after work, so we might be late, or if we're very late back, I won't update at all. Don't miss me too much.
Oh, and one more thing. Today I finished Forever Odd. It's a sequel to Odd Thomas by Dean Koontz. I rather liked it. The ending was one of the rare Koontz's that didn't disappoint. Yay for that.
I'm out of here. Night!
