Clear and reasonably warm today.
A good day, believe it or not! I woke up with my alarm. I think I woke up earlier too. Fumihiko forgot to turn off his alarm this morning and the snooze button woke me up. I got up and watched the news on the couch while I drank coffee and tried to get motivated for the day.
I did computer stuff for a while and then took a shower in the early afternoon. I was really dragging my butt for a while.
After my shower I got busy! I decided to do something that I've been thinking about doing for ages. I wanted to sort out our kitchen shelves. I took about an hour on two shelves. You see, everything just gets thrown on top of everything else and it makes it really hard to find anything. That means, when Fumihiko does some cooking, he just buys new stuff and all the old stuff stays on the shelf. I threw out tons of stuff today. I threw out anything that was old and outdated. I left a bagful of stuff for him to sort out, but I junked old fish flakes, soup packets and the most pain in the neck thing--ramen seasoning packets. Fumihiko keeps the ones he doesn't use. I have no idea why! The shelves look pretty good now. I just wish that I could do that with the rest of the apartment!
After I did all that cleaning up, I needed my lunch. I took a break and watched Friends too. Yay me. I'm now up to the ones where Rachel is pregnant and has just told the father.
A bit after 5 I headed out for the school. It was dark already, sigh. That's a bit scary as I don't have a light on my bike right now.
My class went well and we had a good time I think. After the class, I did my paperwork and then came home. When I got home the door was open, but I didn't hear any sounds. Fumihko was in bed. He seemed surprised to see me, even though I'd sent him a mail saying I was coming home. We had a bit of a cuddle and both felt better afterwards.
We both have tomorrow off! Neither of us was supposed to, but something happened and Fumihiko got the day off. He was telling me as I looked at my cell phone where I saw a message from tomorrow's student that she can't come! Surprise. It's kind of a nice one though. I wonder what we'll do. I joked to Fumihiko that maybe we should go to McDonalds in the morning. It opens at 6:00am and Fumihiko said we should go. I said that would be okay if I could stay up rather than get up.
I cooked dinner at home tonight. It was okay. We had the last of the frozen pork from the frozen food store. Honestly, I was less than impressed with the pork. I think it was tough. I suppose it could have been overcooked, but I didn't think I did that. We had an onion salad and frozen eggplant and mushrooms. They were good. Fumihiko did dishes (yay!) and I checked email. After that, I watched the Doctor Who that was on tonight. It was cool. It was about a gameshow where if you were knocked out, you were really out for good. And, guess who's back? That's right, the DALEKS! Hurray! They are so freaking scary. I thought last time we saw them it was kind of pathetic, but they are back in full force now. Yay.
Just a geeky thought...if the Daleks went up against the Borg, who would win?
That was pretty much my day. I'll try to have something interesting to write about tomorrow night. Catch you then? Night!
