Cloudy, but clearing at night.

First, some good news. When I checked Roger Ebert's website tonight, there was a new review and an interview from him. He's on the mend. He won't be back to full speed until next year, but he's watching movies again. Yeah! And, to make it even better, he interviewed Michael Apted. "Who?" I hear you ask. Michael Apted, the director of the fascinating film series 7 Up. He's just finished doing 49 Up. I've seen a couple of them, one in school and one at the Princess Theatre in Edmonton. I think the latter was 35 Up. What he did, since 1964 was interview the same British people every 7 years. It's fascinating. He started with them as seven year olds and followed their lives, the ups and downs and the "what happeneds?" Great stuff, totally gripping.

And, in other stuff, I did have a relaxing day at home. Yay me. I had a lovely brunch, ate my avocado with wasabi, and watched a couple of good Friends episodes. I took off for the school a little before 5 and got there just at 5.

I checked my lesson, got all the stuff prepared for my student and taught him when he came. After I did paperwork and then came home.

Fumihiko was there and was tired again. Poor thing. Oh, I forgot to say, this morning, he was confused. He thought it was Saturday, his day off. He'd stayed up really late last night and then this morning got up before the alarm, which he'd actually turned off. He saw the plastic garbage bag waiting by the door and thought I'd made a mistake about what day it was. Then, he realized I hadn't made the mistake, he had! He was in time for work.

Anyway, we went out for dinner to Cocos. It was a bit busy, but we got a seat. I had the Gorgonzola burger again. I like it. The only problem is that it keeps coming back on me!

When we finished dinner we grabbed a few groceries. The store had avocados on for 100 yen each so I got two. I s'pose I can even make guacamole if I don't eat them. We came home and hubby put the groceries away.

Then we did something different. We went for a walk! We walked to the park, and then around the park. It was nice. Fumihiko kept pulling me off the road anytime he heard a car, which was a bit silly as I was the one wearing a jacket with white on it! Oh well, he was being protective I guess. It was a lovely clear evening. It did get a little cold, but it was nice to see the stars.

And mostly, that was my night. I'm going to post this and get off to bed. I have to work tomorrow. Hopefully it will be fun. I'll let you know tomorrow night. I think I'll post, but if I don't, don't worry about me! Got to go, night!
