Warm and sunny, with a rain shower in the evening.
Today was okay. No improvement in the feud situation though. I came home from work tonight and "wasn't talked to". I know that grammar is bad, but that's what happened.
I overslept a bit today, not too much though. When I got up I did oodles of laundry and my usual computer stuff.
This afternoon when I ate brunch and did the dishes afterwards, I watched 3 episodes of Friends. They were pretty funny. It helped a bit to watch something to make me laugh.
I went off to my school around 5 and prepared for the class. It was fine today. We're doing a lot of grammar these days, it's not my favourite thing, but it is important. After the class I did my paperwork, changed and came home.
I got my recipe of the internet and then I prepared my salad. I made a type of Greek Salad. It isn't a true Greek Salad, but it's easy and tastes good. It took forever to prepare the veggies though. After I did that, I cooked some of the ginger pork that we'd bought last night. I had my dinner and it was very nice. I would have offered some to hubby but he'd disappeared to the bathroom. When he finally came back, he refused my offer of food and instead watched a dvd on his computer and then drank beer and went to bed. I don't understand him!
He'll be away tomorrow night and I'm looking forward to a little bit of "Helen's night out". Yeah! I probably won't go out, but I can do girly things like watch a weepy movie or eat popcorn in my pajamas if I want to.
I listened to some podcast while someone was watching his movie. I listened to Ebert and Roeper (without Ebert..sob) and then Quirks and Quarks. The latter for anyone who doesn't know it is a science program from the CBC. It's terrifically interesting and often a lot of fun.
Anyway, that's my day for today. I have one lesson tomorrow so I'll have to go over to the school in the afternoon, but then I'm free until Thursday. Too bad I didn't plan a trip anywhere isn't it?
