Rainy in the morning, then clearing.
It's so terribly late right now that I shouldn't even bother updating, I should be in bed sleeping, but I also drank a ton of coffee and I probably couldn't sleep anyway, soooo.....
Today was a good day. I got up early, got to work on time and taught two pretty good kids classes. In between the classes I watched another episode of The West Wing.
After classes I came home, beating hubby by 30 minutes or so. It was his turn to cook dinner and he did very well. He made ginger pork, fried eggplant and miso soup. I opened the prepacked salad and put the hashi on the table! I did the dishes afterwards. We almost had a fight over who got to do them. I'm afraid that I complain a bit when I get to the sink and find it full of veggie peelings and the dish basin full of lukewarm water, peelings and a sharp knife lurking at the bottom. I keep asking hubby to leave the knife on the side of the sink for me to wash carefully and safely, but.... However, we DIDN'T have a fight. Yay.
In the evening we were going to go out for coffee but realized that almost every place would be closed. What's a nice couple to do when that happens? Why, go to karaoke of course! We left here around midnight, went to the grocery store for a few munchies and then hit the karaoke box. We were lucky and were able to get in right away. We had a lot of fun in our two hours. I sang a few new songs, Fumihiko sang his favourites, and we had a bit of food too.
We came home and have been using our respective computers ever since. Now, I simply must get to bed!
