Rainy and snowy.
I was woken up early this morning (my time) by a phone call. I didn't get to the phone in time to answer it, so they left a message. Which I didn't understand. All day I had to sit at my computer and watch that stupid light blink on the answering machine, which drove me crazy.
I had planned to go out today and do a little exploring, but I looked at the weather and decided not to. It was miserable. To make things even better, in the apartment our blooming kerosene heater was going off every 15 minutes or so. It said I had to change the air, but it's just crazy.(I left a window open for much of the day!)
Basically, I stayed home, watched a bit of Frasier, finishing up my dvd set so I could lend it to a friend, then watched a bit of "TV". I watched today's Project Runway. I'm kind of into that show which surprises me because I generally hate reality shows. Maybe because I wear clothes??
I got a couple of messages from hubby saying he'd be late, and indeed he was. It was after 10pm when he returned. Sigh. The poor thing. I started preparing dinner when he told me he was on his way, so it was nearly done when he arrived. Tonight we had chicken drumsticks, broccoli, daikon and shiso salad and coffee. Everything was good. We rather liked it. Hubby had eaten something in the evening and I had a late lunch so we were okay.
I did the dishes and then settled in on the couch to watch Doctor Who. Yay. It was freaky tonight. The return of the Cybermen and dare I say it, the Daleks! Argh! I said to Fumihiko tonight that I've been afraid of the Daleks since I was 10? 11? so it was a bit scary for me. He just laughed. I'm afraid he doesn't really get Doctor Who. He calls it a kids show. Hmmph!
And that's about it for me. Hubby was really tired so he went off to bed. I'm planning to go soon too. I have a daytime class tomorrow. I just hope I can get there by bike! It looks like there might be a bit of snow outside. Argh!
