Snowy, cold, and miserable.
I had a great weekend. The workshop was great. I met up with a couple of foreign wives for tea and quiche. It was wonderful to meet with other women in similar situations.
I did some shopping last night in the new "mall" in the old Daiei building. It was fun. There's a Body Shop now, a brand new Book Store and a new Virgin Megastore. Hooray! I only went to the bookstore last night. I picked up a couple of magazines too. After I did that, I checked into the hotel. Fumihiko didn't show up for another 3 hours! I was getting quite worried about him, when he finally showed up.
Today, we had breakfast in the hotel, packed up our room and checked out. Then, we went shopping. We started over behind the station at a new bookstore. I got a few books and really enjoyed shopping there. After we hit Starbucks and then hit LoveLa. I got a few used cds (and set off the theft detector when I left the store!)
We drove home and it was terrible! I felt so sorry for Fumihiko. The roads were awful. There was blowing snow everywhere, and in Yamagata there was sea foam all over the road too. It made driving terrible. At one point Fumihiko couldn't see, so he had to slow down to a crawl.
We had dinner tonight at Togashi's and then came home. I took a long time to read my email, and then when Fumihiko went for his bath, I watched Project Runway. Today was the final competition. It was pretty good. Fumihiko ended up watching it and I think he was a bit scared at it!
Anyway, it's terribly late and I need to sleep. I'll catch you tomorrow night, probably! Night.
