Sunny, but a little rainy too.
Today was a pretty good day. I didn't go to bed until quite late, so I didn't get up until the early afternoon. When I did, I made the bed, cleaned the toilet and then showered!
Fumihiko came back a bit later and we had a cobbled together lunch. We had leftover chicken, bagels and cream cheese, and miso soup. I thought it was really nice to eat at home for a change. Yay us.
We went out shopping again. We were looking for gifts for my friend's wedding present. We're doing the cash thing, but wanted to get her something more personal too. We got her....well, I can't tell you that! But we did go to two very nice stores in Tsuruoka. The second one was my student's shop. She wasn't there, but her husband was. My hubby and him chatted a bit I think!
Later we went to a drugstore to get some travel sized stuff. I couldn't find travel size mousse, so I'll take my almost empty can and dump it on the way back. I did get some travel sized hairspray. Hurray for me.
We had dinner in M's Dining tonight. It was quite crowded. I had chicken with lots of garlic. It was yummy.
We did a bit of grocery shopping on the way home, but not at our usual place. It's always interesting to go to a different grocery chain to see what's available.
When we came home, we finished our packing. I've even set out my clothes for tomorrow so that I don't have to run around wondering what to wear. I hope to goodness that I've packed everything. I think I have! I even cleaned out my handbag and purse. I tend to carry way to much in them.
After we finished we had some coffee and have basically been playing computer games ever since! Hey, I won't get to play any for the next few days. Poor me.
Anyway, just a quick reminder that I'm out of here until Monday evening. If I'm really tired on Monday, I may not update until Tuesday. Take care and don't miss me too much!
