Hot and sunny.
A strange day. I didn't go out at all. I had planned to go and get my hair cut, but I talked myself out of it.
I didn't do a lot at home today. I watched Garden State and liked it a bit, then later on an episode of The Third Watch. I spent most of the day on my computer, but I did take a break to do some food prep for dinner. I washed the lettuce, and the strawberries, hulled the strawberries too, and washed and chopped up the tomato.
Fumihiko popped home for a few minutes around 6, then went to his Mum's house to walk the dog. He came back around 7.
We ate around 9 o'clock and I moved us into the living room. Tonight there was a movie on that I wanted to watch. Roger Ebert had raved about it when it came out and I really wanted to see it. It was called Me and You and Everyone We Know. I liked it a lot, Fumihiko not so much. The thing was that he was doing his "Noisy Guy" bit during the show. It was quite annoying. He washed dishes (appreciated, but loud), whipped cream and made coffee which are all loud things to do. Argh.
That's pretty much it for tonight. I spent a lot of the day at my computer. I didn't do anything important, just reading blogs. It's quite hot in our apartment so I'm tired and feeling the heat. I don't like extremes of temperature. I need a very moderate climate. So, why am I here in Japan? I ask myself that question all the time! Night.
