Hot and sunny.
Today was pretty good. I did have a major problem getting up though. I dragged myself out of bed this morning, but threw myself on the couch and slept there for a couple of hours!
I watched some of my shows from the weekend...I enjoyed them too. I watched a couple of the CSI shows and then I put on a pair of socks and headed out. I needed to make a bill payment for my school. I did that, and then I went to S-Mall. I went to the restaurant upstairs and had a pizza. It was a small one. Then, I went downstairs to the coffee shop and had a sandwich and an iced latte. I toured around the grocery store without buying anything. One of my ex-students is now the manager of the store, and I wanted to see if she'd changed anything. I noticed a few things that I hadn't seen before. They had Ruffles potato chips! Ruffles! The ripply kind. I've never seen them in Japan before. They had flavoured jellies to buy in boxes. They were foreign made. (Of course there was a Japanese label slapped over the instructions.) And I was most surprised to see Ricola candies. I was very happy to see them because they don't have sugar, and when I'm sick, I use them as throat candies.
I came home and watched a bit of Cold Case. Fumihiko came home, changed his clothes and then left to walk his dog.
We had a quiet time when he came back. We watched some news for a while. Then, we went out for dinner. We went to the Tonkatsu restaurant that we've started to go to. We broke with tradition tonight and each had different things. I had roast katsu and it was nice. Hubby had bar katsu.
We went to the grocery store and got stuff for tomorrow night's dinner. We're going to have a mish-mash of things. It should be fun.
We came home, and Fumihiko watched part of an old David Caruso movie..then we changed to watch ER. ER was good tonight. Lots of things happened. Abby and Luka went shopping for baby stuff and Pratt "saved" a friend of his from getting a DUI.
Fumihiko is off to bed now, and I'll be going soon. I had a good day. It's so hot right now though. I can't believe that it isn't summer yet. Yikes. What's that going to be like? I worry about it.
