Rainy and quite horrible!
I had a good, but quiet day today. I got up at quite a reasonable time. I didn't do much. I planned to go out, but was thwarted by the torrential rain we had. Every time I thought about going out, the rain came harder.
I did do a couple of things today that I'd been thinking about doing. I cleared off the coffee table. My husband is the biggest packrat. He throws everything on the coffee table and then wonders why it stays messy. I usually leave his stuff alone, but there were tons of flyers and papers on there, so I threw some of it out. I made a pile of stuff that I thought he might need, and threw the rest away. Yay me! I wiped the table too. When we got the table it was for him to use his computer on and I asked him to make sure it was kept clear. I guess he forgot that! I also swept a good part of the apartment. I'm not really a vacuum fan, so I prefer to sweep most of the time.
Fumihiko was very late today. He didn't get home until after 9. That's just crazy. He had to drive people after 6 pm tonight. Poor thing.
We had dinner at Cocos tonight. It was rather nice. We also had coupons to get free desserts, so we did that too. After we got a few groceries and then came home.
We had a quiet evening in and then we started watching My Best Friend's Wedding. I don't really like the majority of the movie, but there is one part that I love, when George is pretending to be Julia Robert's fiance and starts singing in the restaurant and everyone joins in. I love movies where people break into song.
Anyway, that's it for me for today. It wasn't a bad day at all. Tomorrow I have a lesson in the evening. I really hope that it doesn't rain as much tomorrow. I have to get over to my school. By bicycle.
