Sunny and warm. Nice day.
If I told you that I overslept this morning it would be a terrible understatement, so I'm not going to say that at all. I got up, showered, and spent a bit of time on my computer. Too much, because I didn't get to spend enough time with a certain 17 year old. Ohh, that sounds a bit kinky, doesn't it? You know what I mean though, don't you?
I did a bit of housework before Fumihiko came home too. I actually vacuumed and swept a bit too. Yay me.
When hubby came home, a bit after 7 we went out. He had to pick up his watch from the jewellry store. He'd broken the crystal on his watch, and lost one of the hands too. It turned out that he had to get a whole new face for his watch. He doesn't even know how he damaged it! After he got the watch, I took us to Doutours for coffee. That was nice. I did a spot of shopping in the mall, I got us a couple of things at the 100 yen shop, and then got a greeting card for a friend that just had a baby.
We tried to go to Cocos for dinner, but the parking lot was really, really full, so we changed our minds and went to M's Dining. (Fumihiko originally suggested GUSTO, but I vetoed that, two days in a row was enough, I'd rather not make it three!) We had a quite nice dinner there. I had chicken and steak.
We bought a few groceries on the way home and I got fixings for dinner tomorrow. The plan at the mo' is to have a chicken stirfry. I think it'll be good, but hubby might be a bit late. Still, it's fast and easy to do.
We had a quiet evening at home. Fumihiko took over the couch for a while, so I went into the bedroom and took Harry with me. I was lying on the bed reading when hubby came in with his book. That was neat. We were both lying on our bed, reading. Us reading together always makes me happy. My father wasn't a reader. He didn't get the whole "book" thing, but Fumihiko does. I think he reads more than me. Growing up, my mother and I were readers, but my sister and father weren't, so it caused a lot of discord. I never have to explain to Fumihiko why I want to go to a bookstore, or feel that I have to hurry up once I'm in one. I know that he's off enjoying himself just as much as I am. Yay!
We came through to the living room at 11 and watched ER. It was an interesting episode, lots of fill in details things. Morris met 5 of his children (he'd been a sperm donor), and Clemente came back for the first time since his girlfriend's shooting.
And that was pretty much it. I'm about halfway through Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows. I'm really enjoying it. I'm slow this time, but it's the last one, and I want to savour it. After I finish this novel, I'll never be able to wonder about the outcome again.
Got to go. Time for a few more chapters before bed I think! Night.
