Warm and sunny. Nice day.
Oh boy. I'm having a major problem staying awake these days in the morning. This morning I got up when my alarm went off, then came through and fell asleep on the couch. I did get up earlier than yesterday, but that's not saying too much.
Still, I had a pretty good day. I didn't get to read any of Harry though. When I was making and then eating my brunch I watched some of Corner Gas. That was quite funny.
I left our apartment a little later than I planned and I just threw on a t-shirt and some pants to bike there. I was halfway to my school when I looked down and realized that the t-shirt I was wearing was plain blue in the front. It was supposed to have gardening symbols on it. I'd thrown it on the wrong way round. Sigh. Unbelieveable! I did have a light jacket on, so I doubt that anyone noticed, but it was worth a chuckle or two.
Both of my classes today went quite well. I think the first student is starting to get over his shyness. The second one isn't shy at all.
After I finished work, I changed and made sure I was wearing my t-shirt the right way around. I did up my dishes and then texted my husband to see if he had finished work. He called me back and we talked for a bit. He sounded terrible. He told me that he took tomorrow off work, so that he could go to the doctor. He's not feeling well. I was a bit upset because I have a bunch of plans for things that I want to do tomorrow, and when he's around my plans always get thrown out of the window. It's very annoying. However, if he really isn't feeling well, then he should see a doctor and leave me alone!
He picked me up and brought me home. I made dinner tonight. I made a chicken stirfry, seasoned with fish sauce, and we also had some bagels, miso soup and finally melon for dessert. It turned out okay. Last night I couldn't get the sort of veggies that I wanted, which was a bit disappointing. I had planned to get a bag of precut veggies with cabbage, onions, carrots and green peppers. Instead I had to take one with a lot of bean sprouts. That made the stirfry very wet. I used a low carb thickener on it, but it was still quite thin. Too bad. Still, Fumihiko liked it, so that was good.
We both did part of the dishes. He did the first half or so, and then I did the dishes after the dessert. We drank decaffe Canadian Maple Vanilla tea over ice. That was very nice.
I moved us into the living room for dinner and we watched Medium. It was quite interesting tonight. She'd hit her head and had to have an MRI. Later on, I watched the repeat of Hustle. I like that show, but I'm wondering why they are repeating it, rather than showing us new ones. And, hey, how about bringing back Doctor Who? I could go for a bit of that too!
Anyway, that's it for me. I'm done for tonight. It feels like I've had a long day, although I haven't really. Talk to you tomorrow, most likely. Night night!
