September 4, 2007 - Tuesday

Sunny, hot and humid.

Today was good. I woke up when Fumihiko had to get ready for work this morning. I was worried about how he'd manage today with his sore back. It was a good thing that I got up because I had to help him put his socks on! He couldn't manage it himself. Bending wasn't an option for him. I've never really had to do that before, help someone put socks on, and it was even more complicated by his ingrown toenail. I had to be careful not to knock it. After he left, I went back to sleep for a bit.

I had a really quiet day at home and watched the first four episodes of Heroes. I loved it! Of course, I love the Japanese character, Hiro. He's nothing like my hubby, but he's sweet and funny, at least so far. Tomorrow I'm hoping to watch a few more episodes.

Around 3 I made my brunch and watched CSI: Miami. Last year, one of my commenters on this blog said they didn't like it because it's too orange. It really is! Miami seems to be mostly a daytime show, whereas Las Vegas has a lot of night shoots and New York just seems darker than both of them. I've never been to any of the cities in question, that's just my opinion from the CSI shows.

I left for my school just before 4. I had wanted to be at my school at 4, but I didn't quite make it. Still, it was enough time. I got there and finished setting up. I did a bit of cleaning and dusting too. Yay me. Both classes went well. The second one wasn't exactly a class, the student told me all about her trip overseas. It seemed to have gone really well. She told me that she really felt like her English had improved, in just the year she's been studying with me. That's so nice to hear.

Fumihiko and I went to Gusto for dinner tonight. We both had the same thing, grilled chicken with vegetables.It wasn't bad at all.

Poor hubby, when I saw him get out of the car at the restaurant I was so upset. He's still walking with a twisted up body. He'd gone to the doctor today to get an injection to help with the pain, but by this evening it had worn off and he wasn't doing all that well again. I'm really worried about him having to sit in an airplane for 7 hours on Sunday. He says he'll be okay, but I'm not so sure.

We came home and had another quiet evening. I printed out a list of his medicines for him to get his primary doctor to sign. Probably (hopefully) won't need it, but we'd rather have it and not need it, than vice versa.

That's about it. Tomorrow I have a lot of things to do. I should do laundry and also go to the bank to pay a bill, post office for a bill too. Also, I'd just like to relax and watch Heroes. Wish me luck.
