September 27, 2007 - Thursday

Cloudy, bit humid.

I didn't get up early today. I meant to, but didn't. Oh well. Fumihiko got up early, went to his Mum's and then to his massage therapy place. He came back later, we had a bit of a cuddle, then I got up and showered. He was snoozing when I came back so I relaxed, and a bit after 1 went out to run errands. He was still sleeping. When I came back he was still sleeping.

I started watching Heroes on my computer and of course he woke up. Sigh. He got up, and after a bit we went out for a quick bite. He dropped me off at my school and then went off on his way.

I had a good time. I prepared for my class and then prepared for tomorrow's class too. My lesson was fine today. It was a bit challenging for the student, but in a good way I think.

Fumihiko picked me up after class and we went to Moku-Moku. It was nice tonight. It wasn't busy and the food was good. Fumihiko had a Japanese style meal and I didn't, so it worked out well. Fumihiko said that he'd cook tomorrow night's dinner, since I work late. Yeah!

We picked up a few groceries at Max Valu, then came home via our local grocery store. Someone wanted to buy beer. Not me!

At home we just relaxed, but actually talked a bit to each other. That's something that's been sadly lacking lately. I think we're going to go fishing this weekend. Fumihiko loves fishing and I enjoy it too, so if the weather holds it'll be fun. I had hoped to go to Yamagata city to see a Chagall exhibit at the Art Gallery, but it looks like it's not going to happen. Sigh. Oh well.

Oh, and I learned a new word today. I usually read British womens magazines and lately they've been using the word "bespoke". I sort of guessed what it meant, but wasn't sure. Anyway, it means "made to order", especially regarding clothing. I like to point out the fact (in case any of my past or present students are reading) that even "Native" speakers of English don't know all of the words. I use a dictionary too. I'm not just suggesting that you buy one because I don't want to tell you what words mean. In fact, I had to search through 3 of my dictionaries in my school to find the word!

So that's it for me tonight. Tomorrow, I have two classes and should have my dinner made for me. I'm not sure if it will be a bespoke dinner or not! I think hubby is going to make nabe.
