Sunny and warm, lovely day.
Today started out well, ended not as well. I got up when my alarm first went off, which was a bit surprising! I usually snooze for a while. However, I got up and found a pretty good idea on WOWOW. It was an old one where people really talked about things. It had a young Ernest Borgnine playing an Amish (I think) farmer. I liked what I saw, although I didn't see all of it.
I spent a quiet morning at home. When I made myself my omelette I was surprised that one of the eggs didn't have a yolk! It was weird. I don't think I've ever had that happen before.
I went over to the school, got ready and had a good class with my student. After class, I relaxed for a bit, then headed off to the camera shop. I wanted to get another photo album for my Hawaii pictures. There wasn't enough room in the free one they gave me.
I came home and waited for my husband. He'd sent me a message saying that he was going to the doctor after work. I knew that, so I waited on him for dinner. And waited. And waited longer. Around 8:30 I sent him an email, then after nine I phoned him. No answer. A hundred different scenarios went through my mind, including one where he was admitted to hospital. Ack. About 9:15 my phone rang. Apparently my husband had gone to the doctor and then had to go back to work for a meeting, but he couldn't call me and tell me. Hmmph!
Anyway, I cooked dinner and Fumihiko came home. I was very glad to see him, but a little angry too. I would have appreciated a call or a message. Dinner was good. We had chicken with salad, and Fumihiko made some warm tofu. After he did the dishes. Yay.
That was about it for our evening. Fumihiko has fallen asleep on the couch and I'm half watching an old movie, Johnny Got His Gun. It was used by Metallica for one of their videos a few years back, the story of a man who lost most of his body, and the ability to communicate in a war. The doctors decide to keep him alive just to see how long he will live. I've never seen it before, I'm not sure I can even watch it all, but so far it's quite interesting. The only thing is that it's a bit stagy at times.
So that was my day. Fumihiko also announced that he's off work tomorrow too, which does not exactly make me happy. It would be one thing if this was something that we decided on together, but it isn't. I have one evening class, but I have other things that I need to do. Well, tune in tomorrow night and see how I manage!
Gotta go, night night.
