November 16, 2007 - Friday - Happy B-day Vanessa!

Clear and sunny, bit cool.

Today was a pretty good day. I got up at a reasonable time and discovered that Fumihiko hadn't taken the garbage out. Unfortunately, it was too late for me to take it out too. Sigh. I watched the news, and a documentary got on with my day. I hadn't blogged last night so I took care of that as well.

In the late afternoon I cooked lunch and then went off to the school. Things went quite well today. I had all three classes, and the child behaved today. Hurray. After school, Fumihiko called me. He'd gone to see a talk by a man that works with teens in Tokyo. He's a big fan of this guy...has many books by him and watches him on the tv all the time. I wasn't ready yet so I got hubby to give me more time.

When he came, he took all the bedding out to the car and then we went for dinner. Tonight we went to Cocos. It wasn't bad. We had a coupon for free dessert, so we had that at the end. Unfortunately for me it had bananas in it. I had two pieces of the banana and then gave the rest to Fumihiko. I think I've figured out why I don't like bananas. They're slimy. I just don't like the texture. Bleck.

We came home and had a quiet evening at home. It was nice. We've had a busy week. Tomorrow will be quite busy too for me. I've got three classes and a meeting. Wish me luck.

I did do something different though, I called my sister to wish her a happy birthday. We had a nice chat. I haven't talked to her in ages so it was good to talk with her.
